I bought this for a heavy 3D scanning camera (Matterport).It totally does the job. It is heavy, but that's a feature not a bug on a tripod which I need to have as robust and stable in its operation. Folds up easily.

If you are planning to the left too fast it will break free and loosen up.

Have used it for more than a year. And have learnt the hard way never to cheap out on tripods.Every now and then, a screw will get lose and the leg will slide down, no matter how much you try or tighten them.I left my camera unmanned on an event and because of the leg sliding, the camera dropped. I have thrown away this product now. Fortunately my camera survived the fall.Please dont cheap out. It will haunt you.Heart attack material !!

1. After JUST TWO uses, the zipper on the bag came apart. I couldn't believe it.2. After three uses, the screws in the legs fell out. By THEMSELVES. Imagine the risk!!3. My only regret is I cannot get my money back - but I sure can prevent someone else from placing an expensive camera on this USELESS CONCOCTION OF a tripod, under its myriad names like 'Lusweimi.'4. Buy Sachtler, Manfrottoor even Benro tripods and save your MONEY!5. You do get what you pay for!
