Works great!
I also added a top coat just to be sure it won't chip. So far so good // it's been 2 weeks!Did 2 washrooms, needed about 3 coats.

Resin counter, tub, shower pan, wall tile, floor tole
I bought various sizes and colors for multiple surfaces. I will start with the smallest surface and see how I like it (intend to return everything if I hate it!) I started with the 35oz size in white (with tools) for resin countertops in my bathroom. This is a double vanity and the sinks are molded in to the surface as a single piece. There is also a backsplash.Prep work is where I assume most of the success/fail criteria would exist, so I paid attention. First, I cleaned everything with an acid based cleaner. Second, I sanded all flat surfaces with an electric sander. I used the sandpaper included for the curved sinks. Next, I brushed the debris off and cleaned everything with a lint free cloth and isopropyl alcohol. Lastly, I taped edges and faucets with painters tape.I decided to mix all of the paint in the first kit, though there is an option to split it in to two. I used a brush for the sink basins and corners, and the foam roller for all flat surfaces. It went on easily and was incredibly smooth. I used a light touch, preferring to use more coats as needed than a messy thick coat. I used 3 coats in total, and allowed 2 hours between coats. I was worried the paint in the can, brush, and roller would cure before I finished but I wrapped them in plastic wrap and they were fine. However, it’s smart to have backups handy.I used an exacting knife and straight edge to cut the painters tape before removing it. I read someone else say it pulled the paint with the tape and ruined the finish. So I learned what not to do. I let it cure for 7 days before using the counter top. This far. No issues. No scratches or lifting. I will mention that I had left over and decided to paint the shower pan. Prep, paint, and cleanup work was exactly the same. I will be painting the tile white in my next project, so I cared less about edges along the tile. It’s been 2 weeks and it seems pretty immune to water and human wear and tear.Next project will be wall tile (shower and bath) and the hideous yellow tub. I intend to take photos this time. I am optimistic and will edit my reviews as I go!

Great alternative to rustoleum's version, highly recommend
Bought this as the rustoleum enamel tub and tile is out of stock everywhere in Australia with no date that it's going to be available again, and we had to fix our bathroom claw-foot tub as our house is up for sale, so we needed something fast. After much research I landed on this one and we are so glad we did! It says it only really has enough for 2 coats, but I did 3 very thick coats and still had about 1/4 of the paint left over. For the last coat I even did a 'pour' coat and still had heaps which helped as I ended up getting spray paint on it after the 3rd coat and so just spot covered that and it worked perfectly. I chose to roll each coat which was a little tricky around the bends in the bath to not get lines where the roller edges hit the bath, but I took my time and was really careful and it worked great. The roller definitely leaves texture though so keep that in mind if you want a smooth finish. I actually loved the sand-blasted effect as it loomed vintage to me which suits our claw bath and heritage style bathroom perfectly. During the process I didn't wear a mask and had the window open expecting a terrible smell like the rustoleum brand but it hardly smelt at all! It actually smelt less than spray paints or wall paints which is amazing. Water based too which i prefer as it shouldn't yellow over time and made clean up so much easier. Came with the tools and painters tape, however I would recommend using better quality painters tape like Frog or 3M. I just closes the lid of the paint in between coats and it kept perfectly and is actually still find in the closed container in the shed, so it doesn't go off during application in between coats. Make sure to stick to the minimum hours of dry time in between coats and have the whole thing done before the time out to ensure a perfect finish. I placed a pedestal fan blowing on it to help it dry, but being done in summer, it dried super fast. Overall for the price we are absolutely stoked and I am so glad we were forced to use this one as I actually think we would be happier with this one than the more expensive and super stinky and oil-based rustoleum. We haven't used it yet, but it came out beautifully in the photos and the house sold with new owners loving the bath. Highly recommend.

If you can paint, you can do this
This was an incredibly easy process. If you can paint a room, you can refinish your tub with this kit. It comes with everything you need including sandpaper and gloves. I suggest buying the extra wide (3inch) painters tape to use instead of the provided tape as it is skinny tape with plastic attached and is harder to work with than regular tape.I refinished a clawfoot tub which has a lip on the outside to paint. Using the roller here did cause splatter so just be ready for that. I was already repainting the outside so it was easy to clean up/repaint. This stuff wipes up just like regular paint. I used a combination of the pour and roller methods by pouring some paint directly into the bottom of the tub and then using the roller to put it up on the sides. I did this because I had to climb into the tub to get all the way around the lip and this made it easier. The directions say to wait two hours between coats but I found you could start a second coat about 15 minutes later. I did this with all 3 coats and preferred it. Gravity will pull the paint down and cause drips so I was able to correct them if I went in at 15 minutes. The "corners" of the tub were the hardest part because the roller doesn't really fit there and the brush just doesn't look as good. Overall looked very professional when done and easy to use. Our tub had previously been refinished. I did not remove all of the original finish, just sanded it to be rough and sanded the chipped areas (using a sander, not the provided sandpaper) Finish is smooth and clean. Very happy.

Refreshed my bathtub and tiles - so far so good!
So far, I’m impressed with the product.Didn’t encounter an overpowering odour either - didn’t need a respirator or breathing equipment. For a project this size, I needed TWO kits - one was not enough.Load up on foam rollers, as the paint deteriorates them quickly. It did NOT leave a glossy shiny finish and chose to use some glossy enamel spray paint for that on the tub (if you do choose to do that step, you will need a respirator as it’s powerful).
