Very useful
Very useful and easy to use for kids.

Too slick -- the markers don't stay in place
I wanted a simple abracus, in part for show, but also to use to learn a bit. This nice looking plastic abracus is so smooth that the markers don't stay in place, but slide with even the slightest movement. You can't calculate with this device, though it looks nice enough on the shelf.

Simple design, and molded perfectly. Movement doesn't stick anywhere, so this allows you to count fast.

This is a ONE star review from me, but not due to quality.
I would give it a 1 star for our personal use.... it is WAY too small.However; it is sturdy and well built... So I don't want to hurt the overall rating (which is why I gave it 5) If that's what you're looking for, it's fine. But when I say small, I mean VERY small. (my 4 year old was having a hard time separating the beads.)

The quality is good but it can be a little bigger as the beads have less spacing. Functions as expected.
