My daughter is a world traveler and explain to me how when she was in the Amazons she did not have to fear about her phone falling out of her hand because she use this item in conjunction with a carabiner and connected it to her Crossbody purse so even if she happened to drop it, it wouldn’t go very far without her being able to retrieve it unlike some other folks who lost their phones as a result of dropping them. This is a game changer if you’re doing any amount of traveling, where you worry about people stealing things out of your hands this prevents that from occurring highly recommend

I used one continuously on my phone while I was in Vietnamese for two years and it never failed me. The nylon material is super strong.I probably didn't even need to replace it, but for the price, I got a couple more for when I head back to Nam.Personally, I removed the tiny metal ferrule hidden in the end and (about the size of a grain of rice) and replaced it with a circular key ring.I then attached a coiled lanyard used for a side arm (also available on Amazon). Utilizing two small carabiners on the lanyard, I snap the smaller one onto the Phone using the key ring and snapped the slightly larger one onto my belt loop then stuffed the phone into my front pocketNow nobody steals my phone and I don't walk off leaving it somewhere.Cheap insurance and excellent peace of mind.(Sidenote, my buddies made fun of me when they first saw it until one of them left his phone in the airport when we were heading to Malaysia. Now he has one.)

This item is sturdily designed to attach a leash or lanyard to a cell phone with a case. To me this item is indispensable!
