I would give it zero stars if I could. The dry erase marker doesn't come off the board after using it. There's no gloss on it like a regular dry erase board. Do not buy.

Ladies this is the perfect gift for your man if he is going to be coaching. This is by far the nicest coaching clipboard that I have ever come across. It is thick and very sturdy. It is wrapped in a thick plastic making it very easy to clean. The set comes with 2 markers, black and red. It also comes with these really nice and stretchy, motivational, arm bands. My husband loves this and so do I. We are going to be coaching our daughter's basketball team and look forward to having fun. This clipboard has a spot to list your starting 5, and second string. This is not a typical coaches board (hard plastic) that you can write and erase thousands of times. Its' a piece of cardboard wrapped in thick plastic. Magnetic functionality works, but don't waste your time - if drawing up plays with a marker is the primary use.

I was a a bit surprised when I opened the package and realized that the thick plastic wrapping that covers this clipboard is meant to stay on it. You use the markers to write on the plastic; not directly on the clipboard. The benefit of this is that you can definitely use it again and again.This is handy in that you can write on it front and back. The front (where you clip paper) is a full basketball court. The back has a half court and a list for starters, subs, and places to keep track of fouls and time outs.Where I see this being a problem is if you want to keep the information you are writing on both the front and the back. In that situation, you will have to be careful holding and moving the clipboard so as not to accidentally wipe away what you have written on one side or the other.The clipboard holds legal-sized paper.
