Manna ProHarris Farms Automated Chicken Coop Door - Built in Timer - Flock Security

So far this is working very well. We started off with a different brand of door that did not work very well at all. We replaced it with this one and we are so pleased with it. It works well, it opens and closes smoothly and quietly. We did set the timer to open and close at specific times because in the beginning it was set with the sunlight settings. A few times it closed a little early and some chickens did not make it in on time and we had to open the big door and let them in. I am very impressed with this system so far. I can not speak for the battery at this time due to we just have not had it long enough yet, but I like that a light will flash to let you know when it needs replaced.

I installed and it worked fine and then it glitched out and would not close leaving my chickens vulnerable to predators all night.

Seems decent so far, very interesting how it goes together so we’ll see if the string and such hold up over time, no super complicated to put together, although programming is a little iffy. Battery life doesn’t seem to be the best though, and since you have to reset it every time you replace the batteries is can be a pain

I bought and returned a different band here on the Zon as it was claimed to be made in USA and solar, battery, and power but it did not work...... Then I saw this one and thought well Manna Pro is a good brand lets try it.... SO HAPPY!!!!!!!! I use 4 AA batteries and have had it going for 2 weeks and they are still @ 99% life. This door opens as it should and took me 10 minutes to install ( I was not organized prob could have done it faster.) SO great!!!!!! Thank you Manna Pro

This thing eats batteries. The door is installed properly - its square and plumb and there is no poop or debris in the way, causing the door to stick or the motor to work hard. It just keeps dying. I've been fighting with this thing for months Its a real problem. I guess I'll buy the power adapter (sold separately, of course) and run an extension cord out to the coop to see if that works. Of course the return window has expired so I'm stuck with it. I should have sucked it up and spent more on an A.D.O.R.1 which lasted for YEARS before it died but I'm poor and was hoping this would work. Don't do it.

I have had this door installed and operating for 6 months now just replaced the batteries, Duracell.After the initial set I have not any problems. It is covered so water is not an issue, so far very satisfied and waiting to see how it does in colder weather. Would definitely recommend

Installed door, calibrated it, set a schedule, it went down at night and never came up. Went to check on it said it was jammed- but there was nothing jamming it, nothing in the way, tried troubleshooting all I could, taking batteries out pressing buttons, trying to recalibrate it, looking up videos- nothing worked- called 1x and emailed several times with finally a response back saying they’ll ask their tech team… Then I emailed a few more times and no response. The chickens have been without a working door for 10 days now terrible customer service that they won’t get back to me and they don’t have a solution for this- I returned it.save yourself the headache-I do not recommend this product!
