I bought these sachets after dealing with a clothing moth infestation. While I tried a variety of products to eliminate the moths, I wanted something that would offer long-term protection. These sachets are easy to use—just peel the cover and place them in your drawers and storage areas. I ordered these on 6th July 2025 - received 9th July 2025 so very prompt delivery!I always use these products to keep moths out of my clothing in drawers (sachets) and wardrobes (hanging units).As I have many cashmere and other good quality sweaters, I consider moth repellent to be essential and I find Acana products to be very good value for money.

I’ve been using these for several months now, and I’m genuinely impressed. Each sachet is individually foil-sealed and lasts up to 3 months, providing consistent protection against moths, their eggs, and larvae.The sachets are easy to place in drawers, wardrobes, or storage boxes without staining fabrics. They also feature an automatic end-of-life indicator, so you know exactly when to replace them.The light lavender fragrance, derived from natural oils, freshens the air in my storage spaces without being overpowering.Overall, I’m very satisfied with this product. It effectively protects my clothing and bedding from moth infestations while leaving a pleasant scent. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking reliable moth protection.

These may or may not work on clothes moths, but they don't seem to work on pantry moths, which sometimes get into clothing. I had an infestation and sealed some of the items in a small box with some of this, with the moths showing little effect most of 24 hours later. To be fair, clothes moths are smaller, and it doesn't say how long it takes to work. I haven't been able to assess its effect on actual clothes moths.It isn't advertised for use on the pantry moth, so be careful of a mothocalypse where you actually have both kinds (yes, I have both), so while I am surprised given the general nature of the pesticide it isn't really a cause for complaint. However, my real complaint is that it utterly stinks. It doesn't smell anything like lavender: it has a strong, harsh chemical scent which initially stank up the rooms I used it in, caused me a lot of hayfever, and made me feel sick. The worst problem is that it transfers to hands and is very difficult to wash off.

I stupidly (in hindsight) bought a pure, untreated wool carpet in the Autumn. Roll on the Spring and tiny white paper like cases were around the edges of the carpet. On closer inspection we could see where the moths were eating and the deep pile was now threadbare.Lesson learned for carpet buying but in the meantime evasive action was needed to save the current carpet.I bought these sachets and a moth carpet spray. The sachets are easy to use and can be placed straight on the carpet around the edges. They are small enough to be placed out of sight behind furniture but big enough not to go up the vacuum.Their smell is not unpleasant - a bit like synthetic lavender but this dissipates fairly quickly although to be honest I wouldn’t like the smell in my clothes drawers.The indicator to say when they need replacing is useful and unlike other reviewers I haven’t had any dud ones.I found them to be very effective in getting rid of the moths and I am now preemptive in replacing them well before the Spring starts. In fact that reminds me - time to put down a new set!

While I initially placed the sachets on the carpets under my beds and sofa, I am still unsure about their overall effectiveness.The convenience of the 20-pack allowed me to cover multiple areas in my home, and I appreciate the ease of use. The sachets have a pleasant fragrance and do not leave any stains or residue behind, which is a definite plus.However, in terms of effectiveness, I am yet to see the desired results. While the sachets are designed for use in drawers and storage areas, I took a proactive approach by placing them on the carpets underneath my beds and sofa to combat moths. Unfortunately, I have not noticed a significant reduction in moth activity as of yet.I understand that it may take some time for the sachets to fully take effect, and I am still assessing their overall effectiveness. Obviously every situation and infestation may vary, and what works for one person may not work for another.
