8 years working in mcdonald's I picked up a few tips on how to cook round eggs and what most people miss is they use steam to cook the eggs - listen to their most recent advert they tell you.To replicate this at home you need a frying pan with a lid together with these egg rings and follow these steps:1. Pre heat the pan and egg rings on a medium heat.2. Add a little butter to the rings let it melt and use a brush to spread it over the pan and sides of the rings.3.crack the eggs into the rings.4. Use a plastic spatula or knife to break the yolks - they won't cook evenly if the yolks aren't broken.5.add some warm water to the pan - not in the egg rings - use 50% boiling to 50% cold to get the ideal temp.6.put on the lid and let them cook for about 2-3 mins you will need to use a bit of trial and error to work out the cook time for your equipment.7. Run a plastic knife or spatula around the edge of the eggs to ensure they are not stuck to the edge.8. Serve immediately or place in an oven proof dish at 100c with a little warm water to keep them warm while you get everything else ready.Non-stick I find these to be comparable to the professional egg rings I used in Mcds if you follow the tips with the butter and release with the spatula you shouldn't have a problem.Cleaning - I use a dish brush don't have any problems.Common issues with the eggs:You get a large air bubble under the egg - pan is too hot.Egg breaks up - under cooked - cook for longer or ensure egg yolk is broken.

Liked this product as I'm a fan of eggs. I would have liked the product to be a bit bigger however, it cooks the eggs well. But it isn't really non stick (as the eggs have to be removed with a sharp Knife) so it spoils the presentation (Not a bad point but I like presentation) Easy to wash and I may buy another pack. Great item. Bought for a friend, then had to order more once my dad saw them! They are the perfect size for making eggs to go in muffins. They are a single ring so no egg gets stuck in the join as I had with a different egg ring. They are easy to clean and show no signs of wear after 6 months of use. I spent some time deciding which rings to buy as the sizing can be confusing, but these are great for egg muffins. You do need to make sure your pan is flat though, because if it's not you can get some egg leaking out under the ring, although this is a pan issue, not a ring issue.

I bought these to try and make the type of egg you'd get in a McDonald's muffin and they half do the job but I wouldn't say they're non stick as I had to cut the eggs out afterwards and they took ages to clean! You'll want to coat them in something before using them anyway.You do get the resulting round egg but they're burnt on the bottom well before the top is cooked - maybe a pan with a lid would help there as then both sides will cook at the same time.Also be careful of the handles - as they're all metal the heat transfers and they'll be super hot by the time you come to remove from the pan so you may want to use tongs!

Why did you choose this product over others?:Im only giving this product one star because I cannot go any lower, its just not fit for purpose, it can only take a small egg, the product is not non-stick, so when you try and remove a cooked egg, it sticks to the side of the frame ,I would hazard a guess that the person that designed it never tried cooking an egg in it, before putting it on the market for sale, its not worth sending it back for refund, as its more hassle then the products worth, just put it down to a bad choice, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED,DONT BUY IT

The item arrived when advised and was well wrapped. Its supposed to be non stick, but I have found even smearing the inside with FryLight, the egg fractures when you lift the ring carfully, the outer part of the egg sticking to the ring. My frying pan has a very slight texture to it, so part of the egg runs out underneath the ring - obviously not the fault of the ring. The volume of the ring I would describe as tight. I will keep trying to make this work better as its something that could be very useful.

After thoroughly comparing similar egg frying rings on Amazon, considering both cheaper and more expensive options, I decided against silicone rings. The idea of heating silicone in a pan just doesn't seem right to me. The deciding factor for purchasing this product was the user-uploaded photos here. I chose to overlook the negative reviews and give it a try. And I'm glad I did — it's exactly what I was looking for.The eggs never leak from the sides of the ring. My method is to first lightly grease a non-stick pan and the rings with butter. I heat it up a bit so the bottom of the egg sets quickly, reducing the chance of leaking under the ring. Then, I cook it on very low heat to avoid breaking the yolk. When it's time, I lift the ring off. If any egg is stuck to the ring, I gently separate it with a knife before completely removing the ring, then flip the egg to lightly brown the top. It's nice that you can choose how much you want the yolk cooked.I'm a big fan of Egg McMuffin, but I wanted a homemade version that doesn't spike my blood sugar. This product lets me do that. I top it with a bit of shredded mozzarella and a slice of pepperoni on German rye bread for a low-carb breakfast that feels great to start the day with. Cleaning is a bit tricky, but wiping it down with a paper towel without delay makes it easier. I recommend it.
