Acctim 27438 Feldburg Cuckoo Wall Clock, Antique Bronze

We've had this clock for about 7 months now and we still love it and it runs perfectly. It looks great up on the wall. You can set the volume for the cuckooing which is prefect as we wanted to turn it down a little. It chimes from 6am to 9pm. You have to follow the instructions to make sure it chimes at the right times but we found them easy to follow and have kept them in a safe place for when we need to do it again when we change the battery. Not had to change them yet by the way. Overall it is a great clock and I'd recommend it.

Great value for money cuckoo clock . Little Bird pops out on the hour lifts its wings and opens its mouth to do a cuckoo sound. It does this from 6am till 9pm if you follow the setting up instruction. If however you want it to start it's cuckooing later, then set a later initial time later before putting the batteries in . For example I wanted it to go from 9am to 12 at night so I set initial time as 8.30 instead of 5.30 as stated in the instructions.

We bought this as a kitchen clock, we have found it to be a really good time keeper, it looks well on the wall.The cuckoo is really nice with moving wings and beak. The cuckoo sound is adjustable which is good , and the cuckoo stops through the night.The clock itself is plastic which is due to the price but does look good,The only downside is we would have liked the “tiki tok” sound but it is silent.Overall a nice clock and quite a decent size.

Bought as a gift but tested out over a few days to check. Despite people warning of water effects and echoing cuckoos mine just did the bog standard cuckoo. Plastic surround, and the weights are pure decoration but do bear in mind, this is a £30 cuckoo clock. The pendulum works a little too well and could really do with a bit of weight to slow it down as it doesn't seem to correlate to any fractions of a second anyway. The instructions on mine were somewhat inaccurate as it seemed to start at 5.30pm and not am like the leaflet said, but it doesn't take a genius to figure this out and set it correctly.The time was always accurate but I wasn't sure about the calls. Every time I remembered I'd try to count the cuckoos to check and they always matched up, but sometimes if you weren't paying attention it seemed to miss a few. I think I am to blame here though.Overall, very impressed. So impressed in fact I'm tempted to get one another one for my father in law and keep this one myself.

Definitely small and plastic. Minute hand dropped off .fixed this ok then found clock not working pulled both hands forward and it worked. Actually works very well and cuckoo is great.

Lasted just over 2 years & chime/cuckoo stopped working. Tried new batteries & resets, still u/s. Last battery cuckoo clock lasted nearly 20 years. Very poor performance.

ok so as some comments mention the cuckoo noise is on the rough side...actually it sounds like its on a construction site, but it does cuckoo and you can hear that clearly. I paid £30 for this clock and really couldn't have expected more for the price. it looks lovely and delivery was fast. my 6 year old loves it and actually thought I had bought it just for her. of course I would have loved a genuine antique cuckoo direct from Austria or wherever, but bank balance says not for a very very long time so settled for this instead and am not disappointed!

Bought this a while back and worth every penny as it has taught all three of my grandkids how to tell the time. This more than compensates for when the bloody thing starts cuckooing at 6 o clock in the morning. Fortunately it shuts off at 10 pm :)
