EBORN Dash cam (With Memory Card)

I have only just received this and used it for one day but as soon as I received it I could see that it was a quality piece of kit. The camera looks better than the picture, like a very small SLR digital camera. It comes with everything you need including a 32GB class 10 SDHC card. It comes well presented in a classy Iphone style black and gold box with the card, GPS cradle, Power cable, USB to mini usb cable, spare fuses for the power cable and even a cleaning cloth. The windscreen mount and GPS is one unit and the press and twist method of mounting to the windscreen is the best I have seen, it attaches really firmly. Now to the video quality, I find it to be excellent. With the wide view the camera gives cars do seem further away and I was initially concerned that the number plates of cars would be unreadable. After viewing the videos it is clear that at a distance plates are harder to read than my previous camera but at normal stopping distance behind a car they are quite clear and obviously in the event of a collision you will be even closer' so no more concerns about this.So at the moment I am very happy with my purchase.

It died on my 20200808Shame I though it was quite good, but It just will not start. blue light on, but no activity.

Do not buy this item. Yes, it records, and yes the videos are good enough, but any 20 quid chinese knockoff will do that. The problem with the Eborn dashcam is twofold. Firstly, it takes around 5 minutes to boot up when you turn on the ignition. This is patently ridiculous, you want it running instantly, but this cam plings, does it's start screen, turns off, plings again, does it's start screen again, turns off again and repeats this for several minutes each time. What a joke.Secondly, it's speed reading is around 20% out. When my speedo and my built in sat nav say I am doing 36mph, this device tells me it is 30 mph. Seriously? Again, what a joke.Simply not acceptable on either front. Get something else.I have updated my rating to reflect the fact that I have been contacted by Eborn customer services, so at least they care about this. However I am still returning it for a refund, and will be purchasing something else that will come on as soon as the ignition is turned on.

I've left reviewing this item for a month or two after purchase, so I can give an honest and fair opinion. The camera was very easy to set up, unlike cheaper dash-cams I have bought. I have just viewed footage taken since it has been fitted, the quality is first class. I like the fact you can add your car registration number, it stamps both date and time on the play-back. It displays current speed on the camera itself along with direction of travel. Don't buy cheaper - buy superior. Recommended highly.

I like it easy to use

Good Day. I’m from Latvia. The EBORN Dash Cam with Built in GPS, Language are very bad even English, I try to use Russian it’s very badly to understanding. Instruction book very complicated. This EBORN Dash Cam, do not have a night vision. Quality of the video good only in day time. Difficult to manage and press the button, especially at night time. This Dash Cam have GPS, I’m very happy with this, it’s shown the speed and directions of the car. Price for this Dash Cam it’s Very High. I not recommend this EBORN Dash Cam to others.

I've had five different dashcams on my cars, both front and rear facing and two with GPS. This EBORN dashcam far exceeds any of my previous units.The GPS link only takes about 20 seconds to log on and the 1080p video is almost on a par with my GoPro. The large speed display on the screen when driving is quite accurate and responsive to speed changes. I've only used the basic record functions so far, but am interested to find out how the park monitor and lane change monitor works soon. Not that I need those functions, but knowing they're available is a plus along with all the other settings that can be made for video, audio and photos. I like it a lot and its a great price for a unit that feels sturdy and looks smart. I will certainly recommend this EBORN dashcam.

This is the best GPS enabled dash-cam I have ever used, and I have tried many.It gets a GPS lock faster than my built-in sat-nav in my Nissan Leaf and has an excellent rock steady picture.My dash is super-reflective and throws up a mottled reflection on the windscreen in full sunlight, so I use a poloroid filter (cut down from a pair of cheapie amazon clip-ons) which greatly improves the visibility in full sun. A professional poloroid filter will cost about £40, mine was £2.99 for the same effectiveness! I use a 64gb card not the included 32gb as I wanted full hd video and the rewrite cycles would have been too great. As in the pictures I hard-wired the kit into my car for permanence, and am very pleased with this camera, it is the best on the market for cost-effectiveness. I leave the screen on permanently, it give true road speed as against the car's speedo which are always up to 10% over reporting, when I am doing 60mph, my car speedo report it as 68mph, most cars are the same.

Le jour de la livraison, j'ai reçu un E-Mail de la part d'EBORN,contenant le manuel d'utilisation en français, j'étais surpris et hyper content.La camera est conforme en tout point à la description aussi bien pour son apparence que pour ses différentes fonctions.La mise en route et les différents réglages ne présentent aucunes difficultés, l'indication de la vitesse se fait soit en miles par heure soiten km par heure. La qualité de la vidéo est super. S'il fallait faire un petit reproche, ce serait de déplorer le manque d'une possibilité de zoom.Bref une super petite camera, complète avec des aides à la conduite pour un prix très correct. A acheter sans hésiter.

Qualité d'enregistrement impeccable, branchement facile grâce à son long cable USB, seuls bémols manque le français qu'il faut télécharger et c'est un peu compliqué et l'indication de vitesse n'est pas réglable en kmh mais seulement en mph.
