Cute Pear USB Rechargeable Nursery Lamp - Multicolor Night Light for Kids' Bedroom Gift

Im a teacher for young children and was looking for a new classroom behavior incentive. I use this lamp in class and named it “Polly the Pear”. I set it to red when I need students to have their voices off listening to the lesson. I tap her to switch to green when they can talk as they work. This is a great visual queue because kids say on their own “look Polly is red, we need our voices off!” Or “we are working now, may I switch Polly to green?” I also use her as a reward for a quiet line-up to leave the class. As a reward they can squeeze Polly to change her color as they walk by me in the line. If the line is noisy or not ready to leave they lose the reward that day. She changes to several colors. They love her so much, even months later, look for her and even ask “How is Polly?” She turns off after 30 minutes. If you keep it on a lot it would need regular charging, but I charge her occasionally through my laptop cable. It lasts a couple of days between charges with occasional use. You can also switch it to a regular lamp color that would be a nice nightlight. Highly recommend this as an easy (cheap!) and fun way to engage students in positive classroom behavior :)

Gift for mom who is in her 70’s to use when she gets up and it’s still dark out. She loves it and found it to be extremely cute to look at.

We own several of these in various shapes and sizes. They all pretty much perform the same way. This emits a respectable illumination, much brighter than a typical night light making it ideal for changing baby's diapers in the middle of the night. It can cycle thru multiple colors and also has a timer function. They are rechargeable via a usb port located on the bottom. These are almost always made out of silicone which makes it soft and pliable and, more importantly, safe for little ones to play with. The downside to silicone is that it's a magnet for dust and hair. Because of this, I'm often leery of letting the grandbabies play with these.

seriously, this is so cute. It makes me happy just to see it. I don't have children. I just like having a little light in my room while I'm reading or getting ready for bed. The timer function is awesome. And, the color options are just perfect. Love it so much. Also, it came in a cute box with a cute card. It's just adorable all the way around
