Fitted to my sons Recording King Acoustic . Took about 20 minutes all told to fit .The Pickup is certainly not at all bad sound wise with a decent output .If you wanted though you could change the pickup .All Good for 6 Quid .

The media could not be loaded. I wanted to electrify my acoustic guitar project and found these for a measly £7.50When they first arrived I was a bit apprehensive as the build quality didn't look promising and just as I had feared from reading some of the reviews on here, one of the wires were off when the package arrived.However I ignored it and installed it anyways and this is the final productIt sounds like a beast when you add distortionsound quality may not be everyone's cup of tea but for the price, if you know what you are doing, its an absolute stealpots aren't THE best quality but they do the job and obviously you can get new ones- I did have to extend one of the wires by soldering new ones onto it as the wires weren't long enough for my guitar but if yours is the right size you wont have to do this procedure

A wire was detached from the Tone control pot, but easily resoldered. All fitted well and works fine.

Product has no instructions cable between pick up and volume control is to short, arrived with a loose wire not connecting to anything as said no instructions whatsoever

Pickup , volume , tone and output jack are good for the price but mine arrived pre-wired wrong causing buzz. I know it wasn't an earthing problem because after i re-soldered the wiring onto the correct lugs , it worked perfectly.

Good value. It gave a new lease of life to an old guitar that wasn't worth spending a lot of money on.It's worth noting that on my instrument the position of the guitar lead it was necessary to unsolder the jack plug socket in order to route the live and earth wires through the guitar body and then to re attaching the socket with two small solder joints.It is a simple procedure but make sure you resolder the wires to the correct terminals or you'll probably get an awful buzzing noise and the guitar will try to run to earth through you!

So pleased with this pickup. How long it lasts - who knows? but I fitted it to my 3/4 Fender parlour geet and it rocks (see pics). I put it through my Extreme Metal pedal and it sounded like a Jackson. Took 20 mins and a drill to install. I accept it's no Seymour Duncan, but for messing around on a beater guitar - at this price....very recommended!
