Six perches compared to four that are more typical on other tubular feeders. As with any tubular feeder, it is difficult to clean the inside (if you wanted to), but otherwise this is a very good feeder.

I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A STRONG AND SMART LOOKING SEED HOLDER FOR FINCHES. THIS ABSOLUTELY IS PERFECT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The media could not be loaded.  Although sturdy and functional, cleaning this feeder isn't easy without the right tool because none of the pieces are designed to be taken apart.The top lifts up and off, but stays connected to the metal hanger/handle, and all other pieces are immovable.The tool that's made cleaning doable for me is a stiff bristle brush on a very long semi-flexible metal stem helps a lot. I got mine from a certain "unlimited" national franchise for "wild birds" (if you don't know the one, you can find them in a search with those words). The brush is marketed specifically to help clean finch feeders. My regular bottle cleaning brush isn't nearly flexible enough to get around all the metal ports that stretch across the inside of the feeder. You can probably find a similar brush on Amazon, but I can vouch for the quality of the one I have.I did see a reviewer who said seed got stuck between the bottom metal piece and the plastic tube, and I can definitely see that as a possibility that even the special brush wouldn't do much to fix. I've used the feeder a few weeks now with thistle and black oil sunflower seeds and haven't noticed it happening, but it probably will in the future.If you're willing to get the brush to clean it (or find some other ingenious way to do it that I haven't thought of!), it's a great feeder, especially for the price! Well-built, perches long enough for birds as large as Titmice to use, keeps seed pretty dry in the rain, avoids the dilemma of poop potentially mixing with the seed because it doesn't have a tray at the bottom. I've soaked it in a 9 parts water, 1 part bleach solution several times to disinfect, and none of the metal has corroded (as happened with a metal feeder from a different brand). The finches love it and my other regulars use it occasionally, too, to grab a sunflower seed.Conclusion: If you're willing to get the right brush to clean it and you want a finch feeder that can hold sunflower seeds and not just thistle, this feeder is a solid choice.

I have several regular customers to this feeder. Mostly finches and sparrows. I have it hanging on my home office window and love listening to them sing while I work

I haven't seen any birds on it yet, but I did see a squirrel on it eating the seeds.

Love this feeder!! The best part of it is the ease to fill it! Also easy to clean and It can hold alot more than it looks. I think it's the best feeder that I've found and highly recommend it.

Storleken passar bäst för skalade solrosfrön och andra mindre frö. Jordnötter hänger gärna upp sig för att diametern på röret är för liten. Annars funktionell och stabil, metalldelarna gör den ekorrsäker och det är nödvändigt hos mig.

Die Vögel werden sich im Winter bestimmt über die schönen neuen Futterstangen freuen.
