This is a great Grain Mill!
I decided I wanted to start making my own flours so looked into different grain mills. I read reviews and decided on the NutriMill High Speed Grain Mill and am so glad I did. I tried it today and it works great, the directions were easy to understand and it's easy to clean. I am very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this grain mill!

Does not grind fine flour
This is a really neat idea for a wheat grinder but it needs a lot of things perfected. The seal on the bucket the flour goes into only has 2 clips to hold it and once you turn the wheat grinder on the pressure makes flour spray out the sides. If they made the lid stay on better that would be much nicer. I ended up with flour all over my counter. The grinding was not fine, I had grit pieces and even ran it through twice and still didn't have fine flour. I have had many wheat grinders and thought I'd upgrade and all the videos I watched really praised this model. I wanted to like it so much but i had to return it. I need fine flour and it didn't grind good enough. The design is awesome though! I love how it all nests in together and is very compact storage.

What are they thinking
This could have been an extraordinary product but unfortunately the deficiencies are substantial. After many months of giving it another try, the same issues prevail. We have had the original Nutrimill grinder for fifteen years and while the issue with dust was unpleasant, it was a simple and reliable unit. This new unit leaves the impression from its shortcomings that it is the first version.Pros: Excellent motor, good grinding speed.Cons: Inadequate design on the flour bin with lid that will not stay locked and filter system that does not stay in place.

Quiet and fast!
Much quieter than my fathers old kitchen mill. I thought if I got a grain mill, it would disturb the neighbors but it is only as loud as a vacuum cleaner. Works well grinding wheat berries. One thing I learned not to do is, never lean on the grain hopper. I wasn’t thinking and leaned on it slightly when it was full of wheat berries and it slipped out of its top groove, spilling wheat berries everywhere and making me have to hold the feeder in place till the rest of the wheat berries went through the grinder. Lesson learned the hard way! Always make sure the hopper is set in place. Once you but the grain in the top, leave it alone until it’s done grinding everything into flour.

Good for bulk milling, but doesn’t mill as finely as I had hoped
Bought this because it was touted as a fast mill that could mill super fine flour and people kept claiming that stone mills could not mill as fine as micronizer/impact mills. The first Nutrimill I received was a dud and did not work at all when button was flipped up to “fine.” The people at Nutrimill were great, however, and sent me a new mill. The new mill did work on fine, but nothing would mill until I turned lever to the “II” setting. Milled finely, but I could still feel a lot of the bran in the soft and hard wheat and I thought maybe that’s just normal for home-milled flour. Then yesterday, I received a Mockmill 200 and oh wow! That milled so finely that I couldn’t feel the bran at all! So, either the Nutrimill is capable of milling that finely and the new Nutrimill Plus I received is also defective (highly possible), or the Nutrimill Plus just doesn’t mill as finely as the Mockmill. At any rate, after receiving two questionable Nutrimill Plus mills, I think the chances are high of receiving a defective mill, so I advise people to stick with either the Classic or another mill, and skip this one. The customer service at Nutrimill is great, though, which is why I’m giving it three stars instead of the one it deserves (especially with it’s annoying high-pitched sound when it mills). They replaced the first mill, no questions asked, and sent me a label to return the second. I just wish the mill had lived up to expectations!Edited to also say that I agree with other reviewers that cleaning it is also a pain, as there are so many crevices in which flour gets stuck in.

Ease of use
This product is fantastic. I am new to milling my own grain and this makes it very easy. I am getting very fine flour once I sift, I use a larger gap sifter for yeast bread and smaller for quick bread which is all I have made so far. I am very pleased with the product.

If you want to spend more time cleaning than milling
EDIT: Returned and bought the mock mill and 100 for $260 from Breadtopia. That machine is a work of art, well worth the additional $60This thing is an absolute mess. For all the efforts they go through to show how well engineered it was, you’d think they’d spend more time actually making a good product.Instead, the bucket lid is not circular so there are gaps through which fine flour dust flies out, making a complete mess of my kitchen (even after attempting to tape over the cracks); the “self cleaning” mill chamber leaves all sorts of flour residue along the output tube (and that’s just what I can see); the slowest flow rate through which kamut will flow leaves the flour more like meal even on the fine setting; and the flour container is made from ABS plastic (same as most children’s toys) and is not particularly food safe (know your customer— you think the type of person to mill their own grain wants their warm flour encountering plastic?)Then there are so many knooks and crannies that even attempting to clean the thing will take hours. Of course you can’t clean the internals, and whole wheat flour goes rancid— I cant imagine what will happen after keeping on the shelf for a few weeks. For “the most advanced mill ever” this is a sure disappointment.

Excellent mill. Very responsive company.
Used for wheat flour. Fast, efficient, easy to clean up. Flour is fine and makes good bread. Sections of mill nest together for convenient and space saving storage.I had to contact the seller. I received excellent service. I would give them 5 stars for their help. Much appreciated.
