Amazing educational book for young ones
My autistic son would bite to express himself. This book was a godsend! We read everyday and he did stop biting!

worth it
Bought this for my 3 yr old son while he was transitioning from being the only child to a big brother. At first I thought there was no hope as he would constantly throw tanturms and would try to bite the baby. Then I purchased this book and safe to say things have calmed down. Its part of our bedtime routine that I will this book with him and remind him of what teeth are actually meant for. I would highly recommend this book to all the parents who're going through the same situation of sibling jealousy or any other type of behaviour issues and how this book can help towards calming and behaving toddlers.

Good book.
My daughter went through a phase of biting in her nursery and I bought this book for her nursery, as nothing else seemed to be helping. The nursery read it to everyone anytime anyone had an incident and soon they were all reciting it, and it has helped a few biters in the class stop. A few weird recommendations in the back about what to do when a child is biting (obviously you don't bite the child, but there it is in the back), but the story is good and helpful for children 'teeth are not for biting'. I'm glad I bought it and definitely helped my little one.

It worked!
I was rather sceptical about this book. My son (18 months at the time) was going through a nasty phase (over a month) of deciding to bite anyone that got in his way, took a toy, or basically he just didn't want to do something. He would bite me when i had to change his nappy, change his clothes, feed him, put him in the car etc you get the picture. I tried any suggestion anyone gave me, all the tips and tricks off the internet. It got to the point that he drew blood once when he bit another child at the childminders' and I was horrified. In desperation I bought this book and took a week off work. I don't know which of these tactics did the trick, or I like to think it was the right combination, but within a few days he'd abruptly stopped! I read this book with him before bed and every time he bit or tried to bite. My childminder was so impressed when he came back! And my son was much happier for it. Over the next week he'd very occasionally go to bite then smile, shake his head and say no no then give me a hug :)

Really effective at reducing biting!
We were struggling with my 20 month old biting at nursery. Not much was working to stop it.We bought a copy for them and a copy for home. They read it to him everyday when he was calm and we did it every day at bed time for a week. Not one bite since!!We go back to it once a week or so to keep it fresh but cannot recommend it enough for getting a consistent message across to little ones.

Worked really well for a child very responsive to books
Purchased after a shock biting incident. Child responds to and treasures books. Seems to be working well as it has a very clear message that child is now well aware of.

Nice pictures, bit boring...
Good pictures and clear words to try to teach your toddler not to bite. "Story" is a bit rubbish though, I felt it could rhyme or have more interest in it.
