Don't think twice. Get it. I have had many similar cheaper phone stands but this one stands out from the rest.Ease of installation & use- 10/10 - Very easy to use. Very simple. Does not need a genius to figure this one out.Sturdiness 10/10 - Built from very strong material.Size & look 10/10 - Looks good. Can be adjusted to suit your viewing angle.Suction 10/10 - I have had other phone stands that have fallen off the dashboard. This one is still stuck to the dashboard since the first time I fixed it on the dashboard.Works well. Works as intended. Get it.

Item isn’t broken ~ Sides open Until .!!Your phone contacts the pad in the holder the side arms contract against the phone tight.!!!The instructions DO NOT explain this very well.!!Now I like it but at first thought the thing was broken because the arms wouldn’t contract around the phone like all my previous phone holders.!!These contract automatically with phone pressure on that back pad.!!Hope this helps others who got frustrated also with the device.!!Does everything I need it to allow me to avoid tickets while driving since I need to use GPS a lot to get around.!!It’s a great device ~ very sturdy ~ stays on my window ~ Love ❤️ it

I've been using this for over three years and gift it to others as well. It's been in excellent condition and works whether on the dash or on the windshield. They've lasted through 100F+ weather to below freezing without issue or dropping. When used on the dash, I use the two prongs at the bottom for extra support, as the dash is textured. It's easy to use one-handed too, just place the phone on the back of the prongs before setting it against the back, which closes the arms.Though I found it easy to use, I had to help one of the gift recipients with the back screw, but it was easy enough, and they didn't need help afterwards.It's a good size, whether a small iPhone or much larger S24 Ultra and works even with bulk back mount attachments on the phone, though it does look slightly more precarious but remains sturdy. Magnet strength and stickiness don't apply here, as it's a suction cup. A little bit of water on the suction cup can help with the suction cup "adhesion"; I've never needed to reapply the suction cup, which is impressive.

After almost four years, this iOttie fell apart. The plastic twist (to tighten the omni direction piece) directly behind the phone clip broke into little pieces and scattered all over the driver's and passenger's seats and floor.The black plastic circle that was to serve between the car and the mound was not sticky enough, so I sticked the mound with clear and extremely sticky suction cup directly on my dashboard. The clear sticky suction cup yellowed with time and was firmly attached to my dashboard even after the omni-directional tighening piece fell apart. I used a plastic knife to wedge between the sticky suction cup and the dashboard to pry the old mound off. It, of course, left a ring of sticky glue/plastic on the dashboard (as stated clearly on the instructions, so be aware and warned).I believe the omni-directional tighten piece broke due to the direct sunlight. It served me well and allows me to be hands-free and not tempted to be holding onto my phone while driving.-1 star: The center of mass with the phone's weight does not allow me to use the mound in extended form.Bought the most updated version to replace this broke mound, same faulty design on the extension not being able to be used with the phone mounded due to phone's weight is not counter-balanced. Manufacturer, please fix! Also, include the same amount of stickiness on the black plastic circle as you do with the clear sticky suction cup at the bottom of the mound. Lastly, will you recycle the broken mound and make it more environmentally friendly with recycle rebates? Thank you for considering above recommendations from a now-thrice-repeating customer.

I really liked the "same unit" i bought a few years ago. Only issue was after a few years the clamp stopped holding the unit (with phone attached) on the air vent. I did get a few years out the original unit so I bought another one.The replacement unit is an improvement over the first one in design. I fully expect this one to last longer than the car vent it is attached to. Very well made and the design is simple and easy to install.Bottom line, I highly recommend this product.

I love the easy installation, no bells and whistles, just does what you want - keeps phone where you can see it. Easy to take phone out and put back even with a phone case and larger phone. I have it attached to the air vent and once I figured out that I needed to screw on the tighteners to keep it braced, it is perfect.

Very convenient and adaptable to all situations.I didn’t like the gel adhesive at the vacuum attachment point — it leaves an unsightly mark and makes repeated use inconvenient.Another issue: the ring that reinforces the back of the phone holder cracks easily, rendering the product unusable. This happened to me with two units, indicating a design flaw. It should be made thicker or out of metal.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Really good. Fits my 2009 Honda Civic Coupe EXL. I had to install it to go down the other way around with the tighten knobs under it so I could go down a little more. Just my preference and it doesn't look bad aesthetically.Recommended
