Great Hiking Shoe
I bought these after a recent trip to Acadia and slipping and sliding all over the rocks on my old ones. This is my first pair of Adidas hiking shoes, and I’m wondering why I didn’t choose them to begin with.I love my Ultraboosts, and these use the same insole as those, but with way better traction. The traction rubber is made by Continental (they manufacture tires), and I don’t feel like they are going to wear down quickly at all. Also, they are extremely lightweight for being waterproof. The zipper is super comfortable as well, with a sock like sleeve to put your foot in instead of struggling to stuff your foot in some of the other high ankled options out there.

Excellent hiking/long urban walk boots, BUT
There are a couple of things to note. On the adidas website, sizing was the chief complaint. I wear a 6.5 in heels, 7 in most ever other shoe except for Hoka Mach 5s (where I wear a 6.5, but a 7 in Cliftons). Not sure what size to buy, I based my choice off of the only adidas boot I could try on locally--their regular hiking boot (6.5 fit me). I went half a size up from there and they fit perfectly. If I'd followed the advice in the comments on the adidas website, I would have gotten a 7.5 and it would have been too big. Additionally, the uppers are stiff to provided support and stability. If you have slim to normal ankles it's fine. Thick ankles won't fit. Finally, these are best for people with feet shaped like mine, wide at the toes with a very narrow heel

Looks good and work good in winter time
O got this for winter time, I walk a lot in snow but I don’t like big boots, i was looking for something confortable and sporting for use when I’m driving, walking outside, most of the shoes or boots with another brand are to big or terrible design, I like this one 9/10

BEST HIKING SHOES
I purchased these for my first snow hike up Mount Rainier. I absolutely love them! Perfect for any type of cold weather hiking, rain or shine. The gore-tex holds up against the snow and rain and the insulation keeps your feet nice and warm. I didn't even need to use sled shoes on the mountain because the soles were enough. They were also so comfy, no foot pain and we hiked over 10 miles. I can't recommend these more. Everything was accurate from the seller and the shipping was also perfectly on time.

Poor quality control! Damaged insole.
Unfortunately, it seems Amazon just gets the damaged goods and sells them. Surprising to see given that it’s from Adidas’s official store through Amazon. The insole arrived completely wrinkled up and makes the shoe super uncomfortable! I’ll have to try and swap out the insole as unfortunately the shoe is sold out in my size everywhere!Otherwise it’s a great shoe. Fit is definitely snug so size up 0.5 to 1 in US sizing. Normally an 8-8.5 and I got a 9 which works well especially with thicker socks.Hopefully Adidas or Amazon will make it right. If so I will update the review.
