Purchased this as a removable backup target for my desktop PC.The unboxing experiance was very nice, packaging was substantial and felt better than a lot of cheaper products you see.The drive enclosure feels solid, it's plastic but feel quality and looks good.It comes with two USB cables, one is USB to USBC and the other is USBC to USBC. You also get a PSU, unlike a lot of devices nowadays.It's super easy to use, just plug and play, it even gets It's own unique disk iconSpeed wise I wasn't expecting much, it's a 7200rpm drive after all. But I was pleasantly surprised to get 170MB/s writes..I have had the drive powered constantly for over a week now, power consumption appears low and the enclosure temperature is hardly above ambient room temperature.Super good value, I am very pleased..

First drive I got didn't work from the box. Windows wouldn't pick it up so I returned it and got a replacement. Thankfully this one did. Pick up but I've had quite a few problems with it since. I use this as a music backup for DJing on a radio show and as just a backup it's ok. Speed is not great but as just a media store it dose the job. The issue is that it keeps dissapearing from windows if left for more than 20mins without accessing. The drive icon shows up but no drive contents or info. I know it's not a usb suspend setting in windows as I've set that to never shut off and none of my other drives have this issue. It's definitely not something to rely on but will do for now.Update: had to return 2nd drive too. Constant disconnects when transferring large files and crashed computer if not accessed for a while. Was used for music storage for DJ collection so it wasn't the size of the individual files either. Also wasn't overheating. This is just a really really bad drive. Avoid at all costs

It's a bit of a gamble, as they are selling used, recertified enterprise HDD in a nice and sleek enclosure, with repurposed power adapters (Huawei, Facebook/meta portal), which is not mentioned anywhere on the product page.

Absolutely value for money, and saved me having to get a new xbox. Literally plug and play, xbox recognised it immediately few click and was up and running in seconds. It's a great compact size and takes up little room at side of console. Came with assorted cables to enable easy connection to any device.

18TB version reviewed. Been using this for a month or so and I'm thoroughly impressed with this drive. This is a quality item - well packaged with good length, high quality cables. I'm getting a steady 250 Mb/sec both read and write. The drive does not get hot at all (slightly warm at most) so it's clearly well ventilated in the casing. The drive is really quiet, too - other than the flashing LED I usually don't even notice it's transferring. I can store all my media, software and disk images of my laptop drives on this with plenty space to spare. At this price I'm considering buying a second drive to serve as a backup for this one. No more plugging/unplugging multiple smaller external drives trying to find some file or other.

Regarding purchasing from a company I had never heard of before, I was a little hesitant. I was pleasantly delighted by the quality of the machine, the manual, and the product detail leaflet when I first received the shipment and opened the box. The USB cords that come with the devices are among the best that I have ever seen supplied. I've used a number of USB HDDs from supposedly upscale manufacturers, and the majority of them have disappointed.The speed of this device when backing up media and Macruim HDD images from my server surpasses the stated transfer speed.Naturally, I can't speak to durability, but I have no doubts that it will be just as good as or even superior to certain high-end brands.

Storage upon first plugin, is much less than the 18TB promised, but i was likely to suffer same with the 16TB being less than 14TB. Bare this in mind when you buy it
