Great for maintenance detailing.
I have a new Genesis Coupe with an all black interior. Since the interior is in very good shape to start with, I wanted more of a maintainance product that I can use on a weekly basis that lightly cleans and protects. Meg's QID seems to be perfect for my needs. It is not greasy and it leaves a natural, originial finish. The smell can take a while to get used to but is not bad at all. It has a rubbing alcohol-type scent and as soon as it's wiped on, the smell is pretty much neutralized. You can spray the product directly onto a surface but I prefer to spritz it on a MF towel until it's damp and then wipe. It takes care of fingerprints, body oils left on steering wheel or shift knob, and daily dust accumulation. It works well on the navigation screen too.I bought a pre-labeled bottle filled with QID and I keep it in the car along with a MF towel on the side door pocket. Every time I get in the car, I spray a bit onto the towel and I do quick touchups around the cockpit while waiting at red lights. The only con that I can think of is that I can't tell if it actually leaves behind some protection as it doesn't leave any shine.Nonetheless, if your interior is in good shape overall to begin with, routine use of QID will help keep it that way.

Love these car care products
Love these car care products. They work as advertised and if you buy the gallon containers, you can save money and get better products than the smaller spray bottle products you would buy in the car parts stores. The fragrances are nice and you can tell they were engineered to do what they advertise. Meguiars is a great company and if you are serious about your car care, you can’t go wrong. Make sure you purchase spray bottles to accompany the gallon jugs.I use the shampoo (car wash), synthetic spray wax, last touch detailer, vinyl and rubber conditioner (great product), interior quik detailer (not greasy and leaves subtle satin sheen), window cleaner (use with distilled water), tire and wheel cleaners and detailing clay. I also have their MT300 polisher which is easy to use and makes a polished finish easy. The spray bottles Mequiars offers work well with their products and mist well.

Has weird smell
I detail my car weekly and this product seems to work well. No residue like some other brands and doesn't leave a gloss coating. It does have a sort of sour smell, which isn't bad, just weird. I haven't looked at the ingredients, but I'd say there is some sort of vinegar or ammonia in it.

Interior detailer
Great price and product. You will need to put it in a smaller spray bottle to use. It is the best product on the interior I have ever used. This is the reason I bought the one gallon refill size.

Where’s the cap?
I received this product without a cap… very frustrating! How on earth am I supposed to close the product so the liquid isn’t spilling!! Please re-send!
