This painting kit looks okay. I have not completed it yet, but I did want to point out that the pictures that come with the package are darker than what they show on Amazon. The paints themselves for the lighter one look like lighter colors, but I have a feeling it is not going to be quite as pastel looking as they show it. So I would not go into these thinking these are going to be lighter colors for sure if you were specifically needing that. But as I said, I have not completed them yet, so they may be okay. The other does have mostly darker browns and all with it, so that should be a darker picture.Other than that, this kit is typical of what they usually look like. These did arrive folded over inside a box, but they are not folded that tightly, so hopefully it will not be too difficult to get the creases out. I use my own brushes for these sets as I have some specifically for tiny details, and that is what these kits tend to have a lot of. It looks like it will be good to paint, just keeping in mind it may not turn out exactly as pictured.

When I ordered the HIVIEW Beach Scene Paint By Number, it showed my first photo as the main photo for the listing. Since I received the kit, the listing photo was changed to the 2nd photo. The second photo is the correct rendition. I don’t know that I would have ordered it if the true photo had been showing, it’s darker and more amateur looking with the sun looking far more blobish than it did in the earlier photos. I am glad they updated their photos to show the true look of the painting.Be sure to note that this does not come with a frame. Paint by number frames, that slide together in the corners, can be found on Amazon. Without a frame, I am not sure how anyone would paint on a canvas. Some paint by numbers come with frames and I’ll likely stick with those going forward. Additionally the canvases in this kit are folded, so the fold lines must be pressed or ironed out.I would prefer to pay a bit more for a paint by number kit and have a frame and a rolled canvas.
