Just got the bag after looking for months for my 14u son. He wanted to transition to a duffel before high school. He is a catcher and needed a bag for all his gear. All other bags were just too small for his gear plus catchers gear. This was biggest i had found by dimension. The bag looks and feels great. Durable and thick. Zippers were heavy duty and easy to manuver. My son really liked the bat vault portion and it was easy to store the bats and get them in and out. The only problem, it DID NOT fit all his gear easily. I, spending most of my childhood playing Tetris, was able to get everything in (with the exception of a an additional glove and training glove) for practice. But when it came time to putting it back after practice my son couldn't get it in without needing help from a teammate to zipper it up. That is just not going to be conducive multiple times a week. If he weren't a catcher, I think it would be great. Maybe even too big. But it didn't work with us. Perhaps if he used a 2 piece mask/helmet but he uses a hockey style mask and it's big.For reference he had the following in the bag:-3 bats (not an issue)-fielding glove ( couldn't fit another glove and training glove)-catchers mitt-full catchers gear (helmet, chest, legs)-batting gloves-junk headbands-bat tack-phone-arm sleeve-batting helmet.-2 baseballsIt was a bummer. I wanted to love it. Just wasn't for us. I would offer a suggestion though to include a padded shoulder strap to the bag.

I wanted a tote bag for my bats and glove plus other stuff. This bag was perfect.

Full featured, well equipped, versatile utility bag. Really impressed with the design, multiple compartments and quality. Handles, zippers and bag feel durable, love the removable bat pocket feature (holds 3 bats and has a hook to put it on the fence without removing each bat). Perfect duffle bag for lugging around gear.
