Front attachement fails
The front connection design in first use, it busted the little plastic nubs that are meant to hold the frame to the mavic pro. I made a attachment out of some brass plate and pop-riveted to were the nubs broke, I bent a little tab that hooks into the Mavic Pro.The swim noodle works best the hole in the noodle fill with water and stabilize the Mavic Pro. I think it would take big wind and big wave to flip it.I like the velcro arms for holding the floats. I think a redesign of the mount and floats would be better and just offer the frame only were you could add your own $3.00 dollar noodle.I have re-sieved version 2 my thoughts are the front attachment works better but you can't attach the lens shade when floats are attached.the 3d printer does an accurate frame, fits tight. if you need the compactness of being able to disassemble the two halves.I like my fix better for ease of installing and uninstalling. It is still a compact unit thanks to the rotating arms that hold the floats. I flew the floats with noodles, take off and landing on snow worked good, visual was good, easy to see the drone at distance.I think the clip could be printed to work like the brass clip and it could be in two halves and still be strong.the rotating arms and velcro is a good thing. if you don't require a sun shade I added 3 stars for the new version2.

assembly can be a little confusing and the pictures and instructions could be a little better, especially the inflation/deflation of the pontoons
Thank you for the quick shipment (I needed it fast.) Assembly, okay the watch word is "delicate" so go slow, slow, slow, take the time to gently, gently, gently unpack and assemble. Since it comes folded up, assembly can be a little confusing and the pictures and instructions could be a little better, especially the inflation/deflation of the pontoons. That said, this is exactly what I was looking for as a safety flying over water, and only adding 77g it shouldn't hurt the flight time. It would be great if it had it's own travel case that would protect the little pontoons, so I hope replacement pontoons will be available.

Replace inflatables with foam and it's a winner
Very good plastic on frames. Fits ok. Inflatable pontoons areva joke , use foam, I did and it worked better than what you sent.
