My daughter thoroughly enjoyed working on the mermaid fairy garden set. It took a couple of hours to color and put it all together. It's always fun to watch the compressed soil puck expand. The seeds came up within a week, and as an added bonus we can feed the wheat grass to our guinea pig. The set came with tons of seeds so the wilted grass can be replaced and new grass planted. This was a really fun buy.The only negative was that the paints were very hard to open and close.

We got this for my daughter for Christmas and it bloomed within days of her planting the seeds. It’s been over a month and the grass is still alive and flourishing. It comes with lots of fairy garden trinkets to make a unique one of a kind garden.

This was a really cute mommy & daughter craft. The paint dried fairly quick & the paint colors are vibrant. The instructions didn’t say how long the plant will take to grow or how to take care of it. the shells are very fragile and some of them broke on us.

This is ADORABLE. Just perfect for a young kid. They have so much creative freedom and it allows for so much personal expression it's just wonderful.

Love the entire idea of this project for my 4 year old granddaughter visiting us for the week. It arrived today and there is hardly any paint in the cups and what is there is dried out. Disappointed for sure.

The paint pots were barely 1/4 full. Fairy lights were broken. By the time i opened box, return window had closed. Very disappointing.

The Mermaid Fairy Garden Kit was a perfect craft project for our 7-year-old wannabe mermaid and fairy. She was a fairy until 5, then became a mermaid. She is fascinated by all things scientific and nature oriented, so this kit has fit into her world very well. It's engaging, educational, and provides days of fun, waiting and watching the grass grow. Excellent craft project for a curious kid. It can be a bit messy, with the paint and soil, but with a little help from Mom or Dad, she has learned how to do the work and then clean up. The painting portion teaches her how to be careful and develops hand-eye coordination. The figurines and shells feed her creativity. Overall, it's an excellent STEM oriented kit.

This is a fun but messy product. My daughter likes all the things that came in the set and is exited to put it together more when the grass grows. It's a multi-step process. We planted the grass and while waiting for that she is painting the figures. She can't really use the rest of the things until the grass grows. Kids don't like to wait. I guess I should have thought of that before buying. It's an okay product.
