Sturdy, well made, useful
I am thrilled. So many offerings and I really read a dozen or more and finally just said “I give up - I’ll take this one.” Good choice!! Heavy, very well constructed, so easy to clean. I was just going to use it for stir frying but like it so much I keep it on my stove and use it virtually every day. This morning I cooked grits in it, last night I steamed carrots. A standard lid from my cook set fits perfectly. I can fry, boil, steam- anything I want - with this handy small pan. Love it.

Great pan, great price, BIG!
Wow, I love this pan! We went to my cousin's house for tacos and he cooked up a big mess of taco meat in a pan very much like this. I decided I really NEEEEDED one, so of course came to Amazon and found this one and placed my order. Well, when it arrived, I thought, DAMN, this thing is HUGE! But have discovered - that is a GOOD thing. It lets you toss lots of goodies around in there without them jumping out of the pan. I've used it several times so far and love that things just slide right out of it - no sticking at all, even with the Vindaloo I just made. Washes up very easily and sits ready for the next time. I hope it holds up well - will report back if it does not - but so far I am very happy with the quality, size, and nonstick-ness of it.

Watch the Heat
I ordered this little pan not for use as a wok, but for use as a small nonstick saucepan. It's been very difficult to find an inexpensive, small nonstick saucepan for use on my GE induction range. Most nonstick saucepans are aluminum and will not work, which is a pity, because aluminum is the best cookware heat conductor outside of copper. This little wok was my attempt at solving this problem.I've been using it to heat canned soup, leftover chili and nacho cheese sauce. It has done a very good job at all of the tasks I've asked of it. Pretty much any small amount of liquid that needs either quick heating or a nonstick pan.As a wok, I've no idea how it works. Nonstick pans should never be heated on high heat. My uncoated steel wok goes from cold to 600ºF in about a minute on my induction range. PTFE-coated pans are unsafe above 500ºF. I don't use nonstick pans on anything higher than medium heat, for both my health and the longevity of the pan.**UPDATE**I've had the pan for over 6 months now, using it several times a week, often several times a day. It works well, and is showing only minor scratches and a few chips in the Teflon on the rim of the pan. But again I warn against using much heat. For example, when heating queso dip, which is almost solid when cold, attention is needed. This is because the pan is so thin. Over medium heat, the cheese melts quickly, but you'll want to stir it almost constantly to avoid scorching. I now only use it for thin liquids. I still give it 4 stars because it's pretty good for it's price point. But if you're willing to spend a little more for a better pan, read on.If you want a nonstick saucepan (or frying pan, for that matter) that you can walk away from and know that thick sauces won't scorch on medium heat, I highly recommend Anolon Nouvelle Copper Anodized, in either the 2-qt saucepan or 2.5-qt covered saucier. It is simply one of the best nonstick pans ever made, with an astonishing amount of aluminum (6.5mm) plus .5mm of copper. For comparison, All-Clad has 2.5mm of aluminum, and the Anolon costs less.

Rust, coating sticks to food.
I own several Ecolution pans and have been very please with the way they stand up to use. This pan is the perfect size, the silicone handle has a good comfortable grip. All went well until I used it a few times. The nonstick surface peeled of onto the food! This has never happened with my other pans. Also, where the hanging ring meets the handle, it is rusting a corroding! I have never had a pan show rust, ever in my life. This was so very disappointing! I emailed Ecolution from their website and asked them what the heck was going on. They requested photos, which I sent. They were not pleased and either, informed me that this particular pan comes from a factory different front the others and offered to correct the situation. So far, so good. I wanted to travel with this small pan - but it's not happening. I recommend purchasing one of their other, better quality pans. For those of you that love this pan and have had a good experience - you lucked out. The manufacturing quality control is not good.

Great little wok for one person.
Now that I’m cooking for one, the huge 15 inch wok I used to use is just overkill. So I looked around and found this mini-wok. It’s just the right size to cook a stir fry for myself, and I think I could make enough for two if I was careful. But wait there’s more! ;) I don’t just use this for Asian cooking. I have made pan sauce, soup, omelettes, and burgers in it too. The flat bottom is perfect for that. The wok is light which my arthritic wrists appreciate, cleans easily, and seems sturdy enough to last years. The only thing I could wish for is a small pouring spout so I can pour soups and sauces easily. In all I’m deeply satisfied with this wok.
