To use this device you must create an account on the Jdiag web site. I have tried to do that both on the IOS and web page. It simply freezes. No response after 20 minutes. Account is not created. Without it the device is useless.

I bought this in May and kept in on my glovebox in case my check engine light came on. Well, eight months later it did. The scanner had no problem linking to my phone and even showed my vin number. However, it showed zero codes.I took the car to my local parts store and had them check it. It came back a simple oxygen sensor. One of the most basic and common codes.I went in and looked at the live ecu data and it showed zero output from that sensor. I don’t understand how it can read what the sensor is doing but not the code that it’s throwing.

great app that comes with this ODB II device. Had some troubles conencted to the bluetooth with one of my phone's but other than that a very worth spending on reader.

this device is not like other cheap obd2 scanner, it is able to work with iphone via Bluetooth, and the software developed by this company themselves, some functions are useful, but some not. it's able to clear the error code, dtc lookup, fault scan, basic functions are enough for daily use, so 5 stars.

When I first received the item I connected it to my car and all the features seemed to be working. However, when my car had a check engine light and I scanned the car it kept saying "0 codes" I read the manual and made sure to do the scan with the ignition on. I tried over and over several times and it kept saying "0 codes". I took it to autozone and they did the scan and they instantly were able to give me the trouble code with their scanner. I realized that the product that I purchased does not work. I wanted to give the seller a chance to try to make this right before I write a review due to the fact the item does not work. The seller did not want to send a replacement; however, they did refund me . I believe the reason they did not want to send a replacement was because all of the units are defective .
