Excellent but don't be heavy handed!
Why did you choose this product over others?:Excellent. Telescopic so designed to be VERY long, therefore, common sense should be applied and use the piece of equipment carefully/sensibly. It will break if too much pressure is applied. If it was any 'sturdier' it would be heavier & you wouldn't be able to lift it! I cleaned all my windows/walls outside in 20mins.

Good, I recommend.
The product is good, I recommend it.It would be even better if the soap dispenser with the soap adjustment and water opening were on the handle for ease of use.

Head broke - Fiddly to setup, head rotates when it shouldn't and on/off valve flies out of receptor
EDIT - Don't waste your money. 2nd time I came to use it, the head snapped off as others have said. VERY POOR DESIGN and choice of materials. As an engineer and plastics expert, if I has seen this before I bought it, I would not have. If they charged ÂŁ5.99 you would feel ripped off. Luckily, as an engineer, I can fix mine.I found it worked reasonably well. The pressure valve (on/off lever) took some getting used to.Things I didn't like was that you have to screw the head onto a tapered thread. I guess if you do it up too tight it will split the plastic on the head, so I rotated it as much as I dare, but this did not stop the head from turning when using it. so I have marked it down a star. Poor design. Also, it was a right pain trying to feed the water feed pipe inside the handle, because it is wrapped in a bunch in the packaging and you cannot straighten it enough to feed cleanly. Took me over 10 minutes to do something that should have taken 30 seconds.Lastly, I dropped it another star because occasionally the valve will pop out of the soap dispenser firing a jet of water over your feet. another poor design.

Ideal for limited access areas.
Great product, worked exactly as advertised. Ideal for my back garden as there is limited access.

Not bad, but
I managed to squeegee my lower Solar Panels, they're on the roof of a ground floor bungalow, rod only reaches up to the first row of solar panels (8), I dipped the sponge in a regular plastic basin for kitchen sink, using tap water is fine provided it is not too hard, rain water is better, or I think it is called de-ionised water you would have to check, do not use detergent or any soap as it can damage solar panels. Using the water and sponge softens the gunge lichen or bird droppings, and then use squeegee to scrape the gunge off and clean again with sponge, obviously washing sponge in plastic sink container in between, sink container is wide enough to wash the head, regular bucket is not wide enough. Update review, the telescopic rod extends in sections secured with a clasp, often while being used the clasps free themselves and the rod reduces itself, very annoying, sometimes the clasp pop open or the rod shrinks by itself, not a good system, but useful only from the point of view that you can choose to decrease the size of the rod quite quickly an easily for closer jobs. Cleaning my windows up close needed a hand squeegee and this rod did not reduce down enough to do that, because the head contains, brush on top foam on one side and squeegee on other with the rod size I could only use the head not the squeegee and foam on close windows. The rod is a little flexible, meaning it needs to lean on the surface you are cleaning, in my case, the solar panels, because it flexes you are not able to apply a lot of focused pressure when cleaning. Minor annoyance for me is the plastic tubing which would carry water or soap, even if not used, scrapes along the solar panel, big no no.Foam part I use to wet the area, squeegee I use to scrape of the gunk, mostly works. Cannot get the finer pieces of gunk off, but massive improvement in my solar panels. For the price I am a little bit conflicted, it saved me getting someone out to clean my solar panels and that would have cost me more than the item, so from that point of view it is good value for money, but for what you get with it, it seems a little cheap, long rod with a combi brush on front and squeegee and foam head on either side. Some tubing to plug hose in and empty little spray bottle to keep the cleaner in.I don't use cleaner on solar panels, that's for window cleaning not solar panel cleaning. My tap does not fit the tubing (that is my taps fault), so cannot pump water out, but wetting foam head is enough to loosen grit and then scrape gunge so sort of works. ÂŁ74, was on special I think, sounds good? The only other problem I see is if just the squeegee wears out, then you would have to replace all 3 as they are all on the same head?Although the long handle is useful it is a bit flexible as in it needs to rest on the area you are cleaning at max length. I have been using the squeegee to clean off the white stuff, not sure if it is lichen or bird gunge, but it has been coming off and solar panels look much better. Ordered a ladder to get to next set of solar panels, so all in all seems like good value for money ish.(update got the ladder it is a little wobbly :) but managed to clean one more solar panel 7 to go, very difficult with flexi rod though, difficulty focusing pressure on end because rod is so flexi)
