Easy to assemble

I liked the description of this piano bench so I ordered it. Upon receiving it the first time there was a small chunk of wood missing from a visually obvious area. I requested another bench, same model, and it came the next day but it came with a very long scratch at an obvious area. How does this even happen? I was very frustrated so I just requested a refund after the second damaged item. I will look to another manufacturer in the future.

The piano bench came quickly. The box was damaged but all of the parts were fine and present. There was a mild odor but nothing unexpected for new furniture.Assembly was straitforward and easy, I only needed to attach the legs and remove some plastic.The body is a very hi-gloss white. The seat is faux leather white. All in all it looks good from the outside.The inside of the seat looks cobbled together with little care, the interior is stapled in with a sheet of thin black fabric, no care was taken to even tuck in the edges, but I have little concern for the inside of the seat.I would recommend assembling with wood glue, but overall it's a functional and decent looking addition to our piano.

The bench is fine but it’s the wrong color

I guess first of all, I ordered a white bench and got a white bench. It was all intact and all pieces, including proper directions were included. I assembled this myself, with some minor impairment limitations, with no major issues other than it was hard to tighten the nut where the lid stop is, as I kept hitting the mechanism and making the lid close on my hand, so that wasn't much fun. It feels nice and sturdy. I wanted this as a vanity to place in front of a large dresser I have and it looks like it will look great in front of it. it does feel sturdy, but i do feel a little weird sitting in the direct middle as it doesn't have any sort of support there. I am thinking of adding one, but I have anxiety and it feels like it is a thing with my anxiety and not the actual product itself, so I am not removing any stars for that. The seat is comfortable, but after a while it is a bit on the hard side, so it gets less comfortable the longer you sit, but that seems pretty true about most seats. I am very happy with this product and I appreciate the extremely clear directions included as well as all parts and a small wrench so I didn't need anything extra to put this together immediately.

Really nice bench with easy assembly and can hold 350 pounds, so can be used by two players at the same time. There were no instructions included in the package. I suspect some people will not know to install legs with the flat washer, lock washer and nut in that order after poking threaded end though bracket. A single sheet or picture would be helpful. That said, assembly was very easy except for peeling the protective film off the four legs. Some sections did not peel easily, likely from storage in a hot place? On two of the legs the plastic protective film came away quite easily, thus why I thought the two more difficult to remove were exposed to heat that may have made the film stickier? The shipping carton was very impressive. The legs inside the bench storage area had protective cushioning at both ends of each leg and blocks of hard foam bumpers to hold them in place. When I went to open the carton there was a warning to open from the reverse (bottom) side to avoid scratching the padded top. And there was a protective sheet of foam atop the padded side with the entire bench in a plastic bag. These guys obviously took great care in packaging, which is noted because so many products today are shipped in flimsy cartons and often arrive with some damage. Kudos for the thought that went in this packaging! As for that assembly, I have been building knock-down furniture and assembling things for decades and even without instructions this one is exemplary. The critical areas of the bench were manufactured with plywood that is far stronger and long-lasting than particle board used in many similar products today. The joints were perfect and the diagonal bracket inside the bench that holds the bolt from the top of each leg has strengthening ribs stamped into it. This is another detail of note because it makes a stronger product that is often overlooked or consciously ignored in the pursuit of profit.

At the time I ordered this it said multiple times that the color is black, although white was in the photo. It is white and doesn’t match my black piano. Seems well made though.

Picture shows white but description depicts black. Other reviewers complained about ordering white but got black. I figured it'd be black but I got white. I have no clue what color you'll get if you order.Bench is too firm for long sitting. Doesn't feel sturdy enough to drag, as in, you'll have to pick up to move the slightest inch.I do not recommend. Buy a known good chair. Avoid this product.
