Real Full Capacity Battery Replacement for Original Apple iPhone SE/6/6S/7/8 Plus X TechValue (for iPhone 6S)

My battery was fading steadily before dropping to 40% of original capacity and I was charging several times a day to keep my phone going. I bought this (amazons cheapest option) instead of taking advantage of the $29 battery offer from Apple after I found it would be over 10 days before I could get an appointment at the Apple store, which also meant heading to the local bougie mall (yuck). I installed it myself, but I already had the tools and have done iPhone batteries and screens in the past, so this wasn’t a new procedure for me. The Apple battery diagnostic says this new battery must be “serviced” which is Apple code for non-oem (and thus no Cupertino commission) parts, but my battery app, Battery Care, says this battery is good (that same app verified what I figured from performance: my old battery was about fried, despite Apple reporting it was at 90% capacity). So, we’ll see how long it lasts. But, for now, I’m back to only charging at bedtime and I can safely turn off phone throttling...sorry, performance management features. If you are on the fence, watch the ifixit replacement video and read their excellent guide before deciding whether you want to risk it. By the way, ifixit is reputable, and the batteries they sell also throw the “service” message in the beta battery app built into iOS. Just look at what Apple does by deactivating aftermarket screens and home buttons. They just don’t want you fixing your own phone, but on pretty much every model since the iPhone 5, battery and screen replacements are mostly a matter of being able to turn a (tiny, tiny!) screwdriver.

My first day with this battery was amazing, but the battery’s duration quickly shortened. It’ll last me an entire day with moderate usage, which is a massive improvement over other replacement batteries. Nothing seems to match a new factory battery.

I bought this battery with no reviews because I know I can return it if there is a problem. The battery works great so far. The one star review by Mike Malarkey sounds like a competitor trying to eliminate his competiton. Dirty tactics dude. It’s people like him who ruin Amazon for everyone else. You just can’t trust reviews anymore. It’s sad how nasty other people can be just to get ahead. This is Amazon and there is no reason this battery should get a 1 star review if Malarkey got a full refund. I hope karma finds Mike Malarky some day and kicks him right in his girl parts. Or, I hope Amazon bans him for life and all of the other fake negative reviews out there.

The battery showed up on time last day. On opening it. It looked like it was a used battery a return. The flex cable was pre bent and looked twisted from getting stuck by inserting in the package. At first the battery would drop in charge would drain down to 60% within 30min changed t by e battery 2 times now the battery lasts 8 hrs + I was a little premature with my first review. With the life of the battery. But the battery is everything that was stated very good!. Thank you! .

It's been two days since I installed the new battery, and it seems to be working fine. My old one couldn't last half a day if I was checking texts/listening to music, this one has lasted a full day with heavy use, no problem. According to the battery life app, my old one was at 34% wear, this new one is 0%. This battery also comes with a new adhesive, I'm very happy with it, especially for this price.Update: it's been quite a few months and still working perfectly

Ok, so my old battery was dying from the beginning, yet I assumed it was my phone just hogging down all the power. So before buying a new phone, after 6 months, I re-replaced the battery with one of these, and zoom, it charges to 100% again, and it takes quite all day to run down. A happy for me battery.

Got one for my wife couple months ago works fine so i got one for myself didn't even last a month
