Wonderful! This tool really surprised me. I use it on a shag rug and it looks great!

This carpet rake worked perfectly at revitalizing a section of my medium pile carpeting in a heavy traffic area. I made X shaped, criss crossed swipes across my carpet. It’s very quick and easy to use. It is very effective at loosening matted down carpeting. I vacuumed up so much dirt and trapped broken fibers. I had to repeat the raking/vacuum sequence three times but it was totally worth it. I wish I had found this tool years ago.Recommended. Would buy again.

Helps makes the carpet look newer and not so worn but doesn’t last long before carpet goes back to a matted look.

I had a ten year old carpet in a motorhome, and it was quite compacted and worn in high traffic areas. I tried several different tools to try to fluff it up. This one wasn’t the least effective, but it wasn’t the best, either.The best tool was prone to breaking. This one isn’t. It did fluff the carpet some, but not without a ton of work, and only in a limited fashion.I think this tool might work well if your carpet wasn’t very matted down. Mine was just too far gone. The other tool, which looked more like a mini metal garden rake, did better on my matted mess of a carpet. But it wasn’t as sturdy as this one.This one had the added bonus of being beloved by my cats! It isn’t an effective hair remover, but they sure love to be stroked gently with it!Buy this if your carpet is fairly new. Don’t buy it expecting miracles on and old, matted carpet.

Used this on semi shag carpet on stairs it puffed the carpet up nicely. I highly recommend this it.Valued priced with professional results !

I’ve only tested it out on a few areas, but it seems to do the job. Happy with purchase.

Very handy and quite well made. The bristles are flexible but firm rubber -- rather than steel -- and they pull up the matting on my furry shag area rug in no time. Steel tines/bristles on other types of fluffers would damage the rug and pull out the fluff, but these do not. Also, in a pinch, you can brush your dog or cat with it. My Pitbull loves it! And excellent value as a carpet fluffer or even a dog brush.
