I rarely write 5 Star Reviews. I mean hardly ever. Nothing is perfect, everything can be improved.Or so I thought.So I was looking for a new cup to use in my neverending quest to drink more water. I've purchased many a container - on Amazon, Kickstarter, Huckberry, Uncrate - you name it, I own it. And don't let it have a gimmick - I probably own two! I am the Goldilocks of drink cups. So of course, when I came across the Ello Port 30oz Tumbler I did the whole sideways dog look: What is this? I must have it!It was love at first sigh but I figured I would really put it through it's paces, and I used it almost a month non stop before writing my review.*What I Liked*- The Powder Coating: I got purple (naturally) even though I've been sorely disappointed in the past. Some other drink cups scratched or flaked off within weeks, leaving the surface marred and not that great looking. This bad boy has survived the pool deck, the beach, rollong around in my car - you name it - with ne'er a scratch!- Capacity: I like 30 ounces. It's not so much that by the time I'm done I'm camping out in the bathroom, but it's enough that I'm not refilling every hour.- The Carry Handle: Pops up on the top of the lid. The manufacturer likes it so much it's part of the product name. When I first saw it I was like, "What's the big deal?" - but little did I know this is a game changer. Snaps out of the way when you don't need it, but easy to snag when you want to grab the cup.- Vacuum Insulated: I've used a ton of these with varying results. Some I fill with ice and and water and within six hours I have lovely tepid (or worse) water. This one - I've filled it with ice and water in the morning, let it sit in a hot car or out in the sun for hours, and finished it in the evening - sometimes 8 or 12 hours later. Even with the ice melted, the water is mountain spring cool!and last but not least...- The Base: Ok, so this falls under the category, "I didn't know I needed this, but now that I do I'll never live without it!" The base of this cup is tapered, which means it fits in a normal car cup holder! OMG - to be able to grab a 30 oz. cup and just drop it in the cup holder...nirvana! It even has a rubber ring near the top to provide a little friction and help keep the cup stable.*What I Didn't Like*I Wish It Was Self Filling: I don't understand why it can't just know I am thirsty and fill itself with ambrosia. No, seriously - there is absolutely nothing about this cup I don't like. Nothing. Not a thing. I am not going to sit here and make stuff up just so it seems that I have a balanced review. Frankly, this thing rocks.

This is a great tumbler and I even prefer it to the name brands. The straw mechanism works great and love the integrated handle in the lid. It also keeps drinks cold for so long!I have run this through the dishwasher many times and the paint hasn’t shipped or faded at all. Overall this is a phenomenal tumbler that works good and work so well! No regrets with this one!

This is a nice tumbler and it fits well in my cars cupholder.However, it does leak out of the silicone straw if it is knocked over!

Tumblers are all about hype these days, but when you actually get a useful one, you know how it's worth it when you use it.➤ Straw / remove straw for a traditional tip & sip hole➤ pop up Handle, simple, if you're like me who carry's 5 things in 1 hand, youll be thankful you have one lol➤ Rubber grip in the middle➤ Hole blocker, yes it works:)All of these are practical and useful which is the biggest reason to get this over a plain tumbler and it looks good too, I got purple and I really love it, like a pastel color.I will say, it looks a bit nakey on the upper half, the bottom has the rubber grip and the logo, but the wider top half is blank, that could be a negative or positive and I myself don't care for big logos but for a 30oz cup yeah it looks plain design wise except for the lid and bottom. Also the straw is rubber so it does have the little line on it which is very thin on this so it's good they found a way to make it small so I don't feel it when sipping.I use this for mainly cold water with ice. Lasts all day. For the size, you will need to fill it up and use lots of ice to have the full maximum cooling effect. Same with hot drinks. The more air you have inside the faster it will cool down, so this is for the BIG coffee drinkers!This is my first Ello tumbler, as a tumbler addict, I would try out more, but this is an easy daily bottle choice.
