I took a chance and ordered several specimens from this seller and 2 down, no disappointment yet. I got the whiff of smell that everyone mentions but it wasn't that bad and it's just the smell you get with taxidermy. Cleared up after a few minutes outside.

Just love it overall.

Sensitive, so make sure you write in detail that it's fragile. My first one came broken so I had to send in for a replacement. The next one came intact. it's bigger than I thought. It's a pretty good price for what it is, my daughter enjoyed it for her birthday. I'm not sure if there is a bit of coating missing, but the black should glow green in blacklight. It does, but not as well as I was hoping. Coming in the case shown with a hook to is can be hung on the wall. Overall, worth the cost.

Very nice display piece but the box has a very handmade look to it and is rough around the edges. There was a blob of paint dripping that dried on the bottom so I had to sand it down before it would sit flat on a shelf without tipping over. It was wrapped in plastic and the hanger was screwed on afterwards (upside down) so it made it difficult to unwrap for display. It’s incredibly lightweight. Specimen is smaller than expected for the price but is still a decent sized scorpion. Condition of the exoskeleton was a little dull and slightly crushed, but not noticeably broken and looks fine from afar.

The moment you open the package there’s just a terrible smell. It’s framed nice and everything but I almost feel like I have to hang this thing outside. It stinks up the whole room and then some
