High quality, just what I was looking for!
I'll give it to you straight: it is not easy to install a new touchscreen for your iPhone; believe me, I've done it a few times... >.< However, this kit comes with everything you need to do it. And, they even give you free screen-guard to boot! (Which I used. I'm tired of replacing these...)From the get-go, unless you've got fantastic near eyesight, you'll want to get either a magnifying glass or reading glasses. The screws are stupid small and very easy to lose. Also, keep them on a table in the *same position* that you took them out in; they are all very different in length and you'll want to put them right back in correct spots. Also, when you are moving the home button to the new touchscreen, be sure to ***CAREFULLY*** and slowly peel it off. I say carefully because there is a small strip of double-sided sticky tape that can get out of whack easily, so watch out for that. Remember, when placing the cable terminals back into the circuit board FULLY RESEAT THEM. You may have to be firm when you push the terminals back into the board, but if they're not fully seated, obviously the touchscreen won't work. Finally, when installing this touchscreen treat it with care and handle it gently; it's a very fragile, easily damaged component.I think the majority of the negative reviews on this item will likely be because people didn't follow common sense like noted above. If you don't, then yeah, of course the screen will fail. It's your own fault. ;) So be careful. That said, I strongly suggest going to YouTube and looking up a video on iPhone 6 screen replacement. I found one from iFixit (probably a competitor to this company, sorry guys and gals). It shows you how to remove the screen, and putting it back on is just doing the same thing in reverse.Back to this product: it's awesome. No problems, and highly recommended! Thanks again! :)

Easy screen replacement
I was ready to dump my old iPhone6 due to a problem with the charging port and a cracked screen. After removing the lint that was stuck in the charge port with a toothpick and replacing the screen, I essentially have a new phone. (The battery was replaced a few months ago.) The screen installation was straightforward and the look and feel is as-new. OK, I had to transfer the home button but that was really easy to do. The replacement screen kit came with all the tools I needed for the screen swap. I did this swap in about ten minutes.

The iPhone 6 screen I purchased from Amazon via Glob-Tech arrived on time and in perfect condition. The repair kit was well supplied with pertinent tools that made it easy to remove the original, cracked screen in preparation for its replacement. The new display appeared to be an exact OEM type and fit perfectly into the phone frame. Even without a home button replacement included, removing and reinstalling the old button was easy. No installation video was available from Glob-Tech, but you can find such instruction online very easily. I ended up looking at two different videos to assist in a successful replacement.

STOPPED WORKING AFTER A FEW HOURS
So I got this to replace the screen on my daughter's iphone6, Came with everything in the video except the replacement seal for the home but. No problem. Worked around that. Followed the instructions in the video provided. Got through that. Turned the phone on had my daughter squeal in delight her phone was back. Stepped out to run some errands came home a few hours later her face was sad, She said the screen just went black. The phone was coming on but the screen was just dark. So I carefully uninstalled and reinstalled it being aware of the flex cables and not to bend them. Still no luck. Didn't want to push my luck, I brought to a licensed phone tech who told me the screen wasn't good. They ran a test on it and the screen itself had an issue. The put in another screen and it worked fine. So now I'm out the amount for the screen plus I had to pay the phone tech double to replace and reinstall the screen (and it being Christmas, he didn't charge me for the install) still had to pay for a new screen which costed more than what I paid for here.

East install, Few minor issues
This was overall very easy to install if you have access to the YouTube video “everyday man” version they recommend. I had the whole thing installed and working in less than 25 minutes. The minor issue I had was with the camera. It is not as high quality as the original iPhone. The quality was about a third resolution as the original. I ended up pulling my phone apart and switching the cameras which defeated the whole purpose of already having it pre-installed. The screen is great quality but it is not same color tones as original. Mine was a bright blue hue white hue light vs apple’s ‘easy on eyes’ very slight yellow tone. I ended up tweaking my settings to get it back to what is comfortable for me. Overall good quality and beats spending $120 for fix.

Glass cracked within a week.
The replacement glass fit and the tools worked very well. I had no problem making the repair. However, within a week I saw a small crack in the glass. And by the end of one month the glass was full of cracks and I could not use the phone. This occured without any drops or banging around. Just being in my pocket. I don't think the glass is tempered so I can't recommend it. I took the phone in to be repaired, and the new glass was tempered and came with a guarantee. It's been two weeks and no problem.

Not Original Iphone Screen. Does not fit Perfect
So I purchased this Screen kit to replace my broken screen and not being able to swipe down from the top on my IPhone 6. Product was advertised but had two issues with it.1) Screen color quality is off. Color of the screen is pale or has perhaps a yellowish tint. In other words "drastic differense to the original iphone screen"2) The screen does not sit flush. The top left corner where the volume controls are bulges up. Did a quick search and this looks a re-occuring issue with the Glob-Tech screen replacement. Globe-Tech needs to fix this.3)Also screen lags slightly once in a whileOtherwise if you need a screen that works this is a go, but if the quality is going to bother you I would say "look else where"...
