I think this is the best liquid for minor mouth infections. I and my family have successfully used it for sore gums, mouth ulcers, after dental treatment, and as a gargle at the first tickle that might mean a sore throat. In the old days, there was a remarkable and powerful liquid called Betadine, but that was withdrawn from sale. Oraldene has turned out to be the next best thing.Now Oraldene seems to have gone out of production, and the rare remaining stocks are being sold at ever-increasing prices. Let's hope it comes back, as it is one of the few really effective over-the-counter medications.

Purchased for sore Mouth and Throat. First time used since the product was taken off the shelf. Found new Formulae very strong and stung sore areas. Slightly dearer than Cordasyl

Excellent product for any kind of throat/mouth infection. Will clear it up within several days. Difficult to find now, seems to have been discontinued. I managed to order through Amazon. No other products for a sort infected throat or mouth after dental surgery can match the performance of Oraldene. Cannot believe such an excellent product that has been on the market for many years is being discontinued. If you use it in the early stages of tonsillitus, believe me it saves you going to the Doctors and receiving antibiotics as many people have found out.

Oraldene was recommended to me several years ago by a doctor for an ulcerated throat. I still use when I get mouth ulcers and it is very soothing and they heal much quicker. In fact, if you use as soon as you feel an ulcer starting, it seems to stop it in its tracks. Really glad to be able to get this online as it doesn't seem to be available in chemists anymore.

A little over priced but it is amazing stuff thank you

It did clear up my ulcers but left me with a dry mouth
