I’ve now bought three of these little wonders—two for my own spawn and one for my nephew. Ages 10, 13, and 13, and all of them are now retro gaming aficionados, wielding pixelated power with the reverence usually reserved for Roblox and YouTube shorts.The RG35XX is a solid handheld straight out of the box, but let’s be honest—it doesn’t truly shine until you roll up your sleeves, hit the forums, and dive headfirst into some OS wizardry and game pack swapping. Once I’d performed my digital dark arts (changed the operating system and loaded it with the good stuff), the kids were off on adventures through Pokémon, Tetris, Zelda, and whatever else used to cost us quarters and friendships.5 stars for build, nostalgia, and the joy on their faces. Just be aware: it’s more of a toolkit than a toy at first. Pair it with a quality name-brand micro SD card, and don’t be afraid to Google like it’s 1999.

Great emulation device, supporting a potential library of 1000's of games. There are a couple of custom OS's that support this device, tho the stock one is just fine too.The buttons are nice, at least as good as any random handheld you care to name from the 90's and early 2000's. The screen is nice and clear, the battery lasts a while, this is a great budget handheld device.My only regret is not getting the WiFi model, it would just make it a tiny bit simpler to manage the game library.

Returning due to device arriving DoA. Manufacture box came inside Amazon box, but still looks dusty and has black smudge marks over it. Manufacture box wasn't sealed and device never powered on. Used the cable that came with the box and even left it plugged in for a few hours. No review on the specific model just the one I received in this order.

This brings back so many memories. It's what you wish your Gameboy actually was back in the 80's. You have to figure out how to load ROMs onto it but it's money well spent. I mostly play old NES games.

The pictures they use they don’t have the games, good quality, fun games still, great size, main problem is they have some games the require thumb sticks to move an this model don’t have that.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this because I wanted to play pokemon crystal and other games like that. They had to stop preloading with Nintendo but it’s super simple to download onto the card. Not gonna lie PSP games not great on this device just because it doesn’t have analog sticks but that’s why they make others with them. This handheld is perfect for all ps1 and down systems. I had a blast playing dk country, yoshi island, astroboy omega, and even pepsiman. I recommend to the person reading this to get one because 1. It’s only 60 dollars and worth every penny 2. If you don’t like it I’m sure there’s someone you know that this would make a great gift for 3. Retroarch function makes it feel ten times more nostalgic seeing the startup and same graphics although u can switch to a hd mode

The item was fun to use while it lasted. After 2 months, it won't turn on. I've tried using the internet to try and fix it, but it still isn't showing any response of turning on.
