Small box size is ideal size for two people.

The problem I've had with my frosting is a lot of different brands leave little lumps of sugar in them, until I found this brand C & H was the best brand which I used. They were out of the C& H so I bought this brand. This brand has a very fine texture, so I didn't have to be concerned about lumps. I definitely am going to use it from now on.

I only buy powdered sugar in 1-lb boxes, because I HATE measuring powdered sugar.A pound of powdered sugar is supposed to be around 3.5 cups, but very few recipe writers measure it consistently from recipe-to-recipe, so anything between 3-4 cups should be considered "about a pound" in my experience. Just dump in the whole box and be done with it.Perfect amount for a batch of buttercream to frost an 8- or 9-inch 2-layer cake.

So I didn't realize how small this was when I spent a good amount of money on it. My fault for not realizing this was a pretty small box. Typically this would be a very inexpensive product. Either way it does what I needed it to.

Entirely too sweet, tastes just like sugar

This is a good basic powdered sugar.
