This was for my 14 year old daughter however I myself looked through all the items and I would actually buy this for my own self too. The items are so cute, good quality and a nice variety of different things. This was a great buy.

This is an adorable advent calendar. I like how the design in the front incorporates the different boxes and how clear the illustrations look. The items each day are adorable. It comes with many other items, such as charms for your nails, earrings, a phone charger, and a nail file. The items themselves aren’t necessarily high-quality but adorable for Christmas fans.

On day 8 and everything has been so nice!! Daughter loves to wake up and open every morning!

It's got a lot of nail stuff in it, and while I don't see her going for the fake nails, she'll love the decals and nail decos, and she'll be able to pass along the fake nails to her friends who like them for Christmas. I'm not a fake nails person, but the sizes look on the smaller side, good for kids her age. There are also several jewelry items, tools, a soft headband great for washing your face or applying masks, cozy socks, and even fake eyelashes (tho no glue; maybe they're self-adhesive?) and colorful clip-in hair extensions. The little puzzle box that everything goes in is especially nice, both in design and build. The exterior "frame" box is a sturdy gift box that holds all the lightweight cardboard interior boxes, which arrange snugly to form the overall illustration. The boxes are lightweight, but if you're patient and careful opening them and don't tear them open like a bear, they're definitely sturdy enough to reuse in future years. (This will be great if you do a lot of beauty subs and end up with a surplus of sample products.) If you find the open edge and the press down on the flap with your nail as you open it, you can get them all open without tearing them (this is less an issue on the narrower boxes, but the larger ones have those stay-close cutouts that make them a little more prone to tearing if you're not careful. The numbers on a few boxes get lost in the design (especially days 3 and 5, which blend into the girl's sweater). And the price (currently 23 bucks, less than a buck a day) is great, especially for such a nice presentation, much more fancy than the typical punch-out flaps.

This advent calendar is fun to just see what you get every day. I personally wouldn’t wear the dragon lady length press on nails but I do know a lot of women who like super long nails. The jewelry is extremely cheap (as expected) so if you have any sensitivity to metals don’t try them. The socks and snowman stress ball are nice, as well as the headband for face cleaning. For the price I think it’s a fun, especially if you have tween or teen girls.
