compact and functional
The guitar stand is compact and functional. Very light weight so be sure you set it on a level surface. Perfect for lightweight guitars. I would never place a Les Paul or a heavy, high dollar guitar on any stand. The safest place is always in the case. This stand does the job

Works for home
I wanted an inexpensive stand to have a guitar near my desk. This one works fine. It accommodates my acoustics, including a jumbo 12 string. It's not sturdy enough for a regular regimen of playing out but as a stand that sits in an office it's great.

Not right for heavy instruments
I bought this to throw in my bag for a lightweight solution at gigs. It doesn't seem to be sturdy enough for a heavy bass. I would assume it will handle acoustic instruments a little better, but I would be skeptical about using it with solid electric guitars that may have a little weight to them. Otherwise its compact and a good design.

Fits Acoustic Guitars a bit tight
On the largest setting, the stand holds my guitar a bit tight and when I pick up the guitar, the stand comes too. Only a small issue, and everything else works great.

This works!
I'm using the stand for a guitar that is in its case. This is to keep it off the floor and so it will not be knocked over by our Robot vacuum. It's lightweight but it works.
