Brio for the win
This is a fun set! If your having issues make sure you make a long press on the trains power button to turn it on. You will also need to update the firmware of the train to work with all of the sets it comes with. We love Brio and the quality of the set is great. One negative is that it didn’t come with a controller for the train you need to use an app on a device or the buttons on the train. The amount of pieces and accessories make this a great value. We added this to our other set to make a huge train. The best part of brio is the open ended design options. It allows parents and kids to be creative. My child’s favorite part of this set is the train wash. The train will go in make washing sounds and then back out. I personally like the train station stop. One last feature we liked is that you can record your own sound for the train. Overall we loved the product.

This was the hit of Christmas for both grandkids
It was expensive but... unlike other similar products, this comes with trains that can be controlled from your cellphone. So the boys made this really large track layout as they could drive the trains all over the place. Hours of fun. We also had some extra track and a few other additional pieces. They love this. The more room you have the better.

Trainwash doesn't work
The media could not be loaded. I would absolutely love this set if the trainwash/service station worked. I returned a complete set because there was no way to replace only the trainwash and this one doesn't work either. I searched and called for help but could not find assistance. This set is too expensive to have components that do not work!😣 What makes it worse is this is the part my grandson favors the most. It's brand new and does not work!

My three year old enjoys it
I purchased this for my son after observing him play with a set in a childrens toy store. The toy itself is sturdy and high quality no risk of splinters from any of the tracks. He enjoys watching the trains move but even more so enjoys building the tracks. He enjoys the battery powered trains more that the manual ones. If you know your child will enjoy then it’s worth it. This has been his favorite toy since I purchased it a month ago.

My son is obsessed with this train set
I was a little worried about this set because there’s a few negative reviews but our son absolutely loves it. He’ll be 3 in a few months and has been playing with it for hours every day since he got it for Christmas. Great buy.

A full system from Brio...
The media could not be loaded. Brio of Sweden is the originator of the Vario-System standard of interchangeable trains and tracks. All trains built to Vario-System standards are interchangeable with track from other Vario-System makers. The oldest and most famous such system is Brio, the Lego of kids' train tracks. But unlike the brick world where Lego reigns supreme, other makers are gaining market share in the Vario-System ecosphere; the best known competitor to Brio today is probably Thomas and Friends. This is a massive set complete with many feet of track. But if you own Thomas and Friends track and would like to build out your layout even further, adapters are available for connecting Brio track to Thomas track. Thomas and Friends often includes adapters with track purchases, but if you lack a connector but want to use Thomas track with your Brio set you can find an adapter here on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Thomas-Adapters-Wooden-Railway-Melissa/dp/B07J3MR78WAs for this set, it's massive and expensive. What you're getting in this set is the type of big assortment of parts and pieces your kids would normally take years to accumulate.Everything is Brio quality--top-notch construction out of resilient plastics and solid woods. The cool thing about this set is that the trains have battery powered engines capable of movement and reading chips inserted in portions of plastic track which call forth appropriate electric actions by the engine--horn blowing, light flashing (and color changing in the lights), reversing and even recorded sounds made by you or your children. This is a multi-child Christmas gift, a lifetime gift for one child. Brio has been around for decades and you can expect your children's children to still be playing with this set when they're the age your children are now.

Great design and toy works great
The media could not be loaded. My biggest complaint is that I bought batteries based on the listing saying it needed four LR 44 batteries and it didn’t need any. You just need AAA batteries. So I need to return those batteries I bought. The train took about an hour to put it together with my kids and we had a pretty nice time putting it together just make sure you have the time and feeling relaxed and don’t be too hungry lol. There’s a lot of pieces but they fit together beautifully once you get the hang of it it puts together pretty fast. It’s a nice toy for my three-year-old who always wanted a train set but some of the details take a little time to get a hang of for her such as the interactive signs.I WOULD HAVE never thought i would bother using the app control feature for the train, but my 9 year old, who loves helping my 3 year old with the train, really wanted to try out. Turns out the app works great for using the train controls. One thing that I can advise is if some of the smart features of the train stop working, charge or change the batteries you are using. I will be getting come rechargeable AAA s for the train.

Tunnels stop working within an hour of play
The tunnels stopped working within an hour of play, taking batteries out resets it but stops working soon thereafter
