After researching materials for making my own masks, I found that Sontara materials make great outer layers for a disposable mask. Sontara AC is good (45/55% polyester/cellulose), and so is this Trimaco wipe (51/49% polyester/cellulose). The Trimaco is a repackage of a Sontara brand (I suspect either EC or SPS). With an inner layer of a polypropylene filter (e.g. Brady SPC), they make a great mask.

These are so absorbent and sturdy , great for cleaning tough areas . And less waste since the one sheet last a good cleaning session.

WAY BETTER THAN THE ONES I USED TO BUY AT AUTOZONE! now that I am done screaming, yes, these are totally better, way stronger, more absorbent, bigger than the regular ones I used to get from Autozone.

I've been using these for a while now as general shop towels and they hold up well enough but, as I learned today when I tried to use them to apply finish, they're not even remotely lint-free. They left lint all over the work piece. Thankfully it's a non-adhesive finish and the lint will wipe off after the initial cure, because otherwise hours of work would've been ruined by bad towels.Will not be repurchasing when I run out.

Love these for use in my studio. Paper towels, I've been finding, are too lint-y (yes, made up that term). These are nicely absorbent but don't disintegrate into lint like paper towels. Will buy again.

Handy towels that pull their weight in the garage. I'll be adding these to my monthly subscription list for sure!

I find you can reuse these for quite sometime before needing replacing, my preferred choice for paper towel.
