It's Good Enough
I ws surprised. The FosPower Emergency Weather Radio I bought was a returmed, 'like new', discount. The cardboard box had a crumpled corner, the radio was as new.The radio isn't the best receiver I own, I have several more expensive and better radios, but for the price I paid the FosPower Radio seems an exceptional value. It had enough of a charge to play out of the box. While learning where the buttons were, I tuned to a clear voice transmision on every band within 3 minutes. It is sturdy and will serve well as the radio I use outside and in harm's way. It's still new, but I'm glad I bought it.

Nice
This product works well for its intended purposes. The extendable antenna picks up signals effectively, and the speaker delivers clear sound. The SOS function can be a bit annoying, but as long as you keep the switch on power, it won’t be an issue. The reading light and flashlight are both bright, making it easy to quickly locate things I've dropped in the dark. While I’m not sure how to test the power generated by cranking, I’ve found it to be a fun little fidget while watching movies or TV. The handle is sturdy and well-protected when not in use, and it turns smoothly with a light motor hum, which I personally find relaxing (though your experience may differ). It’s not "heavy," but it does feel substantial. Lighter than my phone, the plastic is well-molded with no visible seams. The rechargeable battery charges my phone at a decent rate, making it a reliable option when needed.

Good quality weather radio, but...
It is a good quality weather radio. The SOS function is just a siren. I was looking for something that would send an alert when a severe storm or tornado warning was issued. So far I've only seen that ability in Midland Weather radios. That is the only issue I have with this. Everything thing else works great on it.

Works well, definitely recommend 👌
The radio works perfectly, as expected. It takes a while to power up if youre starting fresh and have to use the crank to generate enough electricity, but it works flawlessly once it gets enough power. All other features work exactly as advertised, couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Everything it says it is
I bought it because it had solar and wind up. It was highly rated by purchasers and consumer websites. They didn't lie. Nifty little radio with great reception. I was bummed it didn't have an antenna, then I saw a little silver disc. What's this I said. Well what did you know. Indeed it has an antenna lol. Never said I was smart. Tuner is super touchy. Like you think you have to move it a fair amount to get a station. No. My quarter turn bypassed around 5 stations. Slow and steady and you probably will pick up stations your pricey radios won't. Sound quality is similar to an old clock radio. Weirdly lately that is just fine. Listening without getting police called is nice. I literally have been listening to this outside doing yardwork. And u need no batteries. Wind it up and listen. First thingʻ did was indeed I could bring in weather alerts. It I'd an emergency radio that performs as promised.

Great value, great unit
Arrived promptly and seems to work just fine—it will live the rv and hopefully never needed in an emergency but better to be prepared—works great in the backyard—will order another for the homesteads

Nice little charger/radio/light
Nice product. The Rafio ran for 30 hours before it started to show some fund of running out of Solar power. I haven’t tried the other features yet.

Broken battery cover
I bought this radio about three years ago, mostly to use for camping and hiking. Recently the power bank started to hold less and less power and the radio wasn't lasting as long on internal power; no complaints about that, three years of regular use and being stored in the trunk of my car when not in use will run down even the best batteries. So I decided to swap out the battery with a fresh one since the radio still works fine otherwise. The whole time I have had this radio there has been a Fospower sticker over the cover for the 3.7v internal rechargeable battery which I didn't think anything about since manufacturers often put "Do Not Tamper" stickers over things like that, I peeled off the sticker and the cover came off with it. At some point, before it was sold to me, someone broke the cover and just slapped a company sticker over it to hold it in place and shipped it off. This isn't a huge deal, I'm sure that some electrical tape will hold it in place (being that a simple sticker has held it in place for the past three years) but I am disappointed that someone at the factory thought that putting a sticker over the broken cover, rather than replace it, was a good decision from a customer service point of view. That said, once the replacement 3.7v battery arrives, I plan to continue to use this radio.
