VORI Case for Kindle Oasis (10th Generation, 2019 Release and 9th Generation, 2017 Release), Premium Slim Folio Protective Smart Cover with Auto Wake/Sleep, Summer Palm leaf

Hello everyone. I purchased the Kindle Oasis(9th Generation, 2017 Release), Smart Cover 7" . It fits perfectly on my Kindle Oasis, feels nice to hold, and is also very pretty. I'm very satisfied with it.

The case is very pretty and fits the kindle very good. The only problem I have with it is that it covers the charging light.

Easy to insert my Kindle, and it fits securely. Doesn't add much weight. The strap on the back is a nice feature.

... the case itself was still a decent case all things considered. Lightweight, protective, easy to open, etc. However, I still got rid of it and got one that did have working auto off/on. It was a deal breaker for me. Sorry! 🖤

The description for this case needs to be updated, because it fits the newest version, too (but see edit below). I appreciate the fact that there's a handle you can slide your fingers into when the top of the case is folded over (which is not the case in the vast majority of 3rd party Oasis cases). It makes the Oasis feel extra secure in my hands. I'm not quite sure about the longevity of the case itself based on the materials, but I think it should last long enough for my purposes, and the price can't really be beat. Good job!ETA: Upon further use, I see that the auto wake/sleep function doesn't work with this case on the 10th generation Oasis. It's easy enough for me to just click the shut off button on the Oasis myself when not in use, but it's a bit disappointing. I still like the fact that this case has a handle to make it easier to hold it one-handed. I can't fault the manufacturer for this issue, because they didn't advertise this as for the 10th generation version - I just made the assumption it would work - so I still say it's better than most for my purposes (though not perfect).

Best cover I have found for the 2017 Kindle Oasis. The edges are all rounded so there are no sharp or uncomfortable edges while holding the Kindle to read. The inside of the cover is made to make the Kindle sit flat and even so it is not lopsided when laying on a desk or table to read. The inside of the cover is soft on your hands, yet sturdy. It has an elastic finger grip if you wish to hold it more securely but sits flush with the cover if you don’t want to use it. It does add some weight to the Kindle but not a significant amount. All ports and buttons are easily accessible. When closed, the cover sits flush all the way around. It is well made and does not feel or look cheap. The sleep wake function works perfectly. I am super happy with this cover, and it is well worth the money.

It might have been great, except there is not enough room for the buttons to fit inside the closed cover. So, when you close the cover, the buttons are getting pressed.
