Massive win for our son
For the first time in 5 years, we have been able to (somewhat) properly cut our 10yr old autistic sons hair. This is a huge win for us and our son. While the clippers are not silent, and we didn’t expect them to be, they are far quieter than standard clippers that we have previously tried. They are also friendly looking, so we left it out for our son to basically play with, as it looks like a toy. We attached the 3/6 attachment, so the bare clippers were not exposed. Even if they were, these are still very safe and wouldn’t cause any harm or injury. He turned it on and off throughout the day, touching the clippers off his cheek or arm, and sometimes his hair, familiarising himself with the clippers. By the end of that day, he was comfortable enough for us to sit next to him and cut his hair with them. He now has a fresh buzz cut, and his face is back to being bright and happier looking. This has been an instant success for us. Delighted with these clippers. Everybody is dealing with different challenges with haircuts for autistic children, but based on our experience, these are definitely worth trying.

Game changer for SEN children! 🥳
I have a 6 year old who’s autistic and ever since he was a baby we’ve struggled to do his hair, I dread the hotter months because he’s such a sweaty child he needs regular cuts (I don’t like him fully bald!) Bought these after seeing good reviews regarding Sen and I have to say wow! I’ve been using standard “adult” clippers and it always always leaves bigs clumps round his ears and the back of his head from him not staying still and the clippers being so big these were perfect and I didn’t feel like I was hurting him! They obviously arnt silent more of a vibration sound rather than you’re loud clipper noises, don’t get me wrong he was still slightly upset when I first started but no where near to how upset he was with the big clippers so so impressed! 1000% recommend!

Great
My 2 year old hates anybody touching his hair so it has always been quite a stressful experience having his hair cut at the barbers etc. I purchased these with the plan to have a go at shaving his hair to a nice length at home. They are much quieter than your usual shaver which is good, he still noticed the sound but wasn’t as scared by it.The clippers are lightweight, easy to use and work well. My son had quite thick hair before using these but they shaved the hair really well. I found that it was easier for my son to take little breaks between clipping, but we got there in the end and he looked adorable afterwards.

Great purchase, All 3 of my son's hair is now clipped 😊
Bought this mainly for my 3 year old who is autistic. No hairdressers where I live will do his hair claiming he's too young or they don't feel comfortable dealing with an autistic child for fear of hurting him. So I've had to cut his hair best I can with scissors, with some success. At first try he went nuts, the clippers are still a bit too loud even though they claim to be quiet. So I did his brothers hair (one is 11, the other 13). Worked like a charm, although it can get caught temporarily in thicker hair, especially on top. Never used clippers in my life before and am pretty happy with the results (see pics). After watching his brothers get theirs cut, my 3 year old then let me try again...SUCCESS! He wouldn't let me tidy up round his ears and neck, but this is the best cut he's had in forever, therefore I definitely recommend you give them a try, especially at the generous price. Hair does seem to get stuck in the clippers so cleaning after each use is essential, although don't expect to be able to get every strand out.

Lasts long, easily to use, charges quickly good value for money and very functional. Perfect length to hold in the hand

Good clippers overall
They are good clippers and less noisy than regular ones.Just beware that the size guides on them are DEFINITELY not what the size should be.I used a size 6 and it cut to a regular grade 2 all over and once I noticed it was too late!Easy to clean, charge and to use. It doesn't stop all tears but definitely way less tears than there normally is.3* as I'm gutted this cut my little ones hair SOO short when I wanted it longer.I'll stick to the size 12 from now on and hopefully that's not too short.

Unreal! 🙌🏼
After looking at lots of different clippers for kids with sensory needs i settled on these and i have never been so happy! My 4yr old has sensory issues, especially with noises and touch (please someone invent a touchless way of clipping toenails!) and has refused a haircut for the best part of a year. Before that we were able to coax him into letting his favourite person cut it three times (his granny), but has refused from it.Honestly these clippers have the sound and feel of an electric toothbrush but still cut! I showed my son them, let him turn the on and off, showed him the pictures on it and told him they were special clippers for children. After 2 days he let us give him a full cut 🙌🏼 His hair is so thick but he was happy to let us work away the whole 10mins.Now every childs sensory limits will be different, but for quietness and low vibration, these are well worth the money. Can't speak to the longevity or battery life yet.
