This is a great attractive doorbell that is easy to charge, set up and use. To recharge, you simply slide the unit off its backplate (which screws into the wall) and charge it with a USB charger (the older type, not the C type. The picture is surprising clear, and the coverage area is quite wide. Connecting to my smartphone was also easy with their Ubell app. You take the batteries out of the unit and remove the protective tabs. Then reinsert the batteries and charge. Simple. Then there are 3 different ways to connect to the unit, which are clearly explained and easy to do. I used the wifi connection one myself.I bought the unit because I live remotely in the mountains and want to do know who is at the door before I go to open it, and this meets that need flawlessly. I think in this day and age, everyone should have a unit like this just for security reasons. A very nice unit.

This product is better than ring because it has video on demand you could view your front door at any time take a video or snapshot right to your phone or turn on the motion sensor and have to go to the free cloud and then if you want to keep it download to an internal SD card. if you connect this to existing wiring it will not ring your existing chime you must remove your chime connect the two wires together using a fuse or a splice this will give power to your front doorbell wires constant and allow your unit to charge you will need to purchase the wireless doorbell if you want to have a bell ring in your house. Remember this unit as well as ring realeyes totally on the quality of your Wi-Fi if you have a poor signal you will need to buy an extender

I am a current Ring doorbell owner and have been very satisfied with it for over two years now but when I decided to purchase another WiFi doorbell for my vacation home I thought I’d look to see if there were cheaper options out there. There were and this is one of them.1.) Never loses connection (Same as Ring).2.) Takes 18650 batteries so you always can have fresh ones ready to go (WAY better than Ring).3.) Extremely long battery life used as a “wireless” WiFi doorbell (Far superior to Ring).4.) Extremely easy installation (Same as Ring).5.) Extremely easy to change batteries (This is far superior because Ring has a built in rechargeable battery so the unit must be removed and brought inside for charging).6.) Accepts a micro SD card for backup (Ring does not accept a micro sad card).7.) Utilizes a security bit to deter theft (Both offer this - Ring’s security bit is better but not worth quadruple the price).I currently own both products and while this product functions no better than Ring, it’s design is so much better that if I were to decide to purchase another (as much as I love my Ring doorbell) I would purchase this doorbell again in a heartbeat.No issues whatsoever!

love it !!! very easy to see who and what's going on outside my door . at first I was having a little trouble getting the ap on my phone , but with Gosund support they helped me get it done . It actually turned out to be much better than I thought that it would be . Should have got one sooner .Really do recommend this product ,

Straight forward setup and reasonable picture. The problem is reliability. The battery warning does not work and it does not last even a week without need to charge. Died completely in less than 2 month. Cheep Chinese crap

Very good doorbell. Works as expected.No issues with connectivity and charging. This doorbell is a must have for every household.You are never away from home with this doorbell.

So this doorbell bell is very sensitive, but I guess 5hat is a good thing. Set up was tricky, but I was able to set up and charge both bells within 10 minutes. I actually kept them charged before attaching to the house. Picture is beautiful very clear and I like being able to check on the house every once in a while. The thing I dont like is that it rings constantly I have it on the lowest PIR setting without it being disabled and I'm still getting some activity at the front door.11/3/18 Update : if you change the wifi password it will not work and you may not know that is the reason why. Husband changed password and did not tell me fir all I know it stopped working, but figured out it was the wifi after all. Had a hard time getting both bells back online but eventually did.Do not throw away Instructions!!!!
