A poor value compared to other attenuators in the same price ...
A poor value compared to other attenuators in the same price range. Very limited features, and as far as being able to attenuate your amplifier to "bedroom levels" as advertised...it doesn't even come close. It works fairly well until you try to go beyond -12db, after that the sound quality drastically deteriorates, making the amplifier sound like a fizzy-fuzzy mess with no clarity at all and still loud. Also, you only have one speaker output which limits your speaker options.

It does attenuate sound, however something inside it rattles and one of the potentiometers is really stiff. As long as it holds up I guess I'll just live with it's flaws. Overall it bums me out considering it was a "Guitar Player magazine Editor's Pick". As far as Amazon goes they were spot on with a prompt delivery.
