Not worth the money.
For the amount of money. This device seems crude compared to a smart phone. The only advantage is service just in case you do not have cell service.

I love my InReach
This came in very handy this weekend when I went solo camping in the mountains. My family thinks I am a crazy old lady for wanting to go camping by myself where this is no cell service. With this I was able to message them that I was doing okay so they did not have to worry. The weather reports were also handy as it was a very rainy weekend. I feel much more safe and confident knowing I have this with me.

Son was lost in mountains, never going through that again! Bears, snakes, heart attacks and broken limbs are just some of the reasons this devise is not optional. Son's idea of a weekend hike is anything less than 50 miles. Bought this device with the tracker option and extra insurance where they fly him out with a helicopter if ever needed. Best peace of mind ever.

Ideal para la comunicación con nuestros familiares, amigos o seres querido si en sitios en donde la comunicación no es convencional.Yo piloto de helicóptero en barcos atuneros en alta mar y me parece la mejor inversión que pude hacer en pro de mi estabilidad sentimental y/o emocional.

Kept my family informed of where I was
Went camping by myself, and my daughters made me get this. It is very useful and could even be called indispensable if camping alone. It will accompany me on all of my fishing trips going forward.

It’s 2020. For the price and the price of the service I’m little disappointed.Now having said that, I do like the unit and our son will he making an AT through hike this spring and summer and will be taking this little guy with him. So it has value.
