Teamalchi Taiwan Natural Loose Leaf GABA Oolong Tea, decaffeinated, for stress relief, reduce anxiety, sleep aid, weight loss aid

I decided to try this tea because I am from Taiwan as well. The white package looks and feels good. It printed “Heavy Roast” but it should be “ Dark Roast”. Very clear instruction of how to make the tea. It claims that you can steep 6 plus times but did not specify the volume of water used. For example I try to steep it but the flavor and color went down significantly by the 3rd times. I use a 16 oz cup so if they refer to a 8 oz cup I guess the 6 times is achievable. Very dark and almost red wine-ish color of the first cup. Tannin is barely noticed but the distinguished oolong aroma and flavor are very both strong and pleasant. The tea leaf did not expand fully afterward. I guess it is because of the roasting process. Overall it is very high quality tea and definitely will purchase it again.

DON'T PUT DOWN GARBAGE DISPOSAL Oh, wow. This guy surprised me. These little teensie balls are actually complete tea teaves rolled and dried.. I only need 1 teaspoon for 32 ounces of cold brew green tea. That means I put the tea in the jar with water and refrigerate 7 hours to overnight. This makes an intense, light green tea that soothes and helps with intermittent fasting and sleeping at night just like they claim. Made cold brew it controls my appetite very well and no nausea. The cold brew leaves can be reused two more times--thats 1 teaspoon for 3 quarts.In order to intensify the flavor and stretch dollars, I combine life Himalayan green tea. Thanks Dr. Fung for recommending a good quality tea--this is one.

bought this tea for my dad to have him try it out. I've heard about this type of tea but never really had a chance to try it out.so our family had the tea together yesterday. gotta say this is pretty awesome stuff. will def get it again and see what other flavor are like. Great stuff and worth the shot.

I wanted to move away from coffee and was given samples of this tea months ago. Finally tried it and found it to be refreshing and brought energy in the morning. I placed an order once I ran out and the tea came in their usual minimalist packaging. The tea itself is not very dark but can be brewed 2-3 times with the same tea leaves. I think there's still some caffeine in it but way lower dosage than a usual cup of coffee. The taste for the black tea is my favorite; its refreshing and smooth at the same time. I usually let it cool down a bit before sipping on it.

I was looking for a new-to-me tea and decided to try this one after seeing it mentioned in r/tea on Reddit. It is delicious. I brew it "western style" in a mug with a Finum Infuser. I can easily get three good steepings.

I cannot believe I paid 17.99 for a very small amount!!! I will not do that again

I have always loved drinking oolong tea but worried about the caffeine intake would result a sleepless night. This tea has low caffeine and had not affected my sleep at all. I love how it has a special aroma and had helped me to stay energized and relaxed through out the day. As a busy mom of 4, I enjoy having this tea next to me :)

Love this Taiwan High Mountain GABA Green tea. Great flavor. This tea is so smooth. The selection is excellent and the prices are good. Try this tea, you won't regret it, no bite at all...We love it. I absolutely love this tea! Wish I would have purchased more
