Perfect fit for 2001 BMW 530i E39. Wirked great. Just unclipped the broken old plastic unit from the car, attach this unit to the fuel door and clip on the sliver clip that came on the on fuel door to hold this hinge in place. Clip the unit in body of the car where there is a bracket right next to the gas filler cap and you are done.
