WORKPRO 15" Hand Rivet Nut Setter Kit - 79-Piece High Leverage Rivet Nut Tool with Metric & SAE Mandrels and Nuts

Great tool and worked very well compared to others I've used in the past. Depending on the type of metal and thickness of the metal or surface you'll be inserting the well nuts into, you may want to use a mic to check the collars before drilling. The size chart had a few drill bit sizes that could be to large. One example was the 1/4-20 well nut called for a 13/32 drill bit. This would be too large for thinner piece of sheet metal as it will pull thru once you go to set the well nut. Over all, I am pleased with the tool and accessories.

Minus 1 star for missing "multi-function spanner". Not worth a return, I can use other tools to remove and install mandrels. Luckily the M8 mandrel was installed and the one I needed today. Maybe the seller can mail me one?Seems to be pretty robust tool for the home user. Don't know if it would stand use in a production shop, but for small projects it looks very capable. Sturdily made, and lubricated from factory.Awkward removal of tool after setting rivet, as I had to spin the entire tool to remove it from the rivet. I thought from the picture the knob in the center would spin the center of the mandrel, but it is there to provide (needed) guidance and support for the arms. At least you can put the handles together after a turn or so to reduce the "swing" of the tool during removal.

I had to install a set of Steel Armadillo Rock Rails on my Jeep Grand Cherokee.. this tool was perfect for the job. Now it's making all of my equipment installs easier, and Fun.Highly Recommended! If you're weak, or shakey, have a friend do the crimping, although these at 15" have more leverage than most competitors do, when crimping the larger rivets, you'll want to keep a steady hand on the tool. I've heard of guys saying they've broken other brands, I think it's because they weren't steady enough, or strong enough and the tool slipped. Lol

Well I sure was irritated to find out that of the one size nuts I needed that came with this kit was nowhere to be found. Instead they accidentally gave me btwo packs of another size. So I couldn’t do the job until Amazon delivered my new order of the size that was missing. Didn’t knock stars but Quality Control, please pay more attention. As for the tool and kit and case, all are really great. Made for quick and solid work, it worked like a charm.

I bolted a thread checker on the door of tool cabinet a couple days ago. It only took a couple minutes to finish the job. I upload some pictures to share with you guys.

Not sure what happened but seems very poorly made. I used this successfully the first week I had it and then didn’t need it again for a few year. When I tried to use it again I was able to install one insert and then jammed up and spit out a bunch of small broken metal bits now it’s completely useless.

Used this to re-attach the Nerf bar to my 2002 Dodge Ram. Worked great! Paid way less for the tool + rivets nuts, than to have it done by a shop, and now I have the tools to put in rivet nuts for other projects. As it turned out, I did have a need for this tool again a few weeks later. One of the the Rubber pads on top of the nerf bar broke off. I did need to contact customer server for an issue, and I was very pleased how quickly they responded.

Made installing speakers and other body panels on a car very easy. Recommended for adding bolts to places that there wasn't a hole for. I didn't once wonder if it was gonna break while using.
