Contadina Canned Roma Tomato Sauce with Italian Herbs, 15 Ounce

I wanted something easy for those dishes that need just a little sauce. I make three chicken breast patties for the two of us. After breading, I bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 400 degrees and take it out, add Mozzarella slices and this Contadina tomato sauce with Italian flavoring. I then top it with Parmesan cheese. Put it back in the oven and bake 5 - 10 more minutes until done.This makes a nice easy meal that tastes delicious with some pasta or a salad.The flavor was such that I didn't have to add anything to boost the flavor. I highly recommend this product as a great value and flavorful.

The sauce is not as thick as I usually prefer with pasta sauces, so i added a few things. As a sauce to make pizza, the consistency of the sauce is perfect. And tastes good.

This tomato sauce is great to cook with. It can be used as a base in a lot of meals - spaghetti, lasagna, sloppy joes, soups, etc. I would recommend it, simple and tomato-y. Not too tart, not too sweet. Great staple to keep in your pantry at all times. It got a nice tomato-y flavor and is easy to incorporate into more complex dishes.

Can of tomato sauce, nothing to throw a party for, but as good as any other. Not sold on the idea of getting groceries by ship-to-home. Maybe if I lived far from stores, but I don’t.
