Lasko Wind Machine Fan, Air Circulator Fan with 3 Speeds, 20" Model 3300, Gray

First, I was very pleasantly surprised that this large fan came in one piece. Pull out the box and plug in. Definitely worth the cost.If you like the white noise of a fan this is perfect because in my opinion it provides just enough relaxing noise.Air flow is great with three speed options with the knob on the back. The air flow is just as good as the lasko pedestal fans if you’ve ever had one. Fan quality is great and yet light weight. Power cord length is good.In my opinion this is a great space saver fan when your room just does not have the floor space for a pedestal fan.This is a large fan (see advertisement for measurement) and for some it may be too large but for me, the size is great because sits perfect on-top of my dresser which is exactly what I needed.

This s the best floor fan we have ever had! Speed control and adjustable tilting. Also, great for hot days on the patio to keep the air moving. Not too loud and a very good price. We have purchased two others that have lasted 5 years so far! We bought this one for a relative who has a lovely covered patio and ceiling fan. This will even help the ceiling fan on a hot day!

I got tired of taking my fan up and down the stairs and decided the upstairs needed its own fan. This fan works great and has enough power to keep me comfortable, even at the lowest level. It is not super quiet but, for my use, sound wasn't an issue. It's a bit large but that is okay for what I need it for. It won't win any decor beauty contests, but I've owned the smaller fans that look very nice - but they really don't do the job as well as this one does. I don't have central a/c so when I am working upstairs it definitely keeps me much more comfortable. It is plastic, but the build appears good and I anticipate it will be around for quite a while. The fan that this replaced was all metal and worked well, but getting the tilt to hold steady just never was going to happen with that one; you had to lean it against things just to keep it in the same position - such is not the case with this one. It holds rock solid whatever angle that you put it in. It's a keeper!

This fan is amazing. I ordered it because we are forewarned this will be a brutal hot summer in our area. We have had 3 hot summers with 40-50 days in the 90s and last year a week over 100. This amazing fan arrived today and I plugged it in on low for a gentle breeze down 30 ft hallway hall into living room. Very quiet, lovely, comfortable summer breeze, I turned it on high and WOW, power plus.If you are in need of a fan for summer season order this one fast. They are fantastic, great price right now. They will sell out fast. No more silly remotes to loose, no charging batteries or finding one of those hated little cube things. This fan is all together the easiest most efficient appliance in my house to plug in and go. 3 tilt positions, 3 speeds, no digital nonsense to fiddle with 6 buttons. I buy a couple new fans every 3-4 summers. I have had at least a dozen. Some in the $100s. This fan is the best of the lot. No one will dare borrow this one. This fan is a treasure.

Nice fan, big as a box fan. I like this because you can tilt it up or down. Moves air pretty good and it’s not real loud. But where the fan connects to the base is thin and it can break, not as easily but can break. Fixed both side with a plastic weld (which I got here at Amazon) still hanging in there moving air

When I received my item, it wasn't yet hot enough to use, so I set it aside for a month until the hot weather set in.When the weather reached boiling point, I pulled the fan out of its box and plugged it in. About half an hour after turning the fan on, it began to smell of burning plastic; I turned it off, but it wouldn't turn on again.I was outside of my Amazon Return window, so I contacted Lasko, the makers of the Wind Machine, and they responded almost immediately. I followed their instructions, but the machine just wouldn't work. So we made arrangements for a replacement.Throughout the entire process, customer service was exceptional. They contacted me daily to keep me up to date every step of the way, from review to approval, from shipping to delivery. Very professional and responsive to my questions and concerns.I don't think I've ever been so happy with a company as I am with the Lasko folks. Other companies could take a page out of their book on how to treat customers.BTW, the new machine works like a champ. It's sturdy but lightweight, and moves copious amounts of air. I will definitely be buying their products whenever I am given the chance. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

I just bought this to replace the exact same fan I bought more than 15 years ago. The new one is EXACTLY like the old one, and that says everything. How many products in this world are good enough to be sold for 15 or more years with absolutely no change? That is a singular achievement.This is, I believe, the best floor fan you can possibly get. For more than 15 years, it worked flawlessly for me. There were times in summer when it would run weeks without ever being turned off. It's quiet, it has three excellent settings and it can be reliably tilted to any angle you need. Even in winter, you can aim it at the ceiling to get that warm air moving and circulate it throughout the room.Mine failed because the plastic knob that controls the switch finally just crumbled into an unusable mess. Using pliers to turn it off and on doesn't really feel safe. I guess I could jury-rig something, but that's more hassle than I need for a simple fan. Other than improving that switch knob, I can't imagine anything else they could do to make it better. Apparently, neither could the manufacturer!At my age, this is a product that's surely going to outlive me!
